Wonderful Sussie Mellstedt sent in this dreamy editorial full of spring florals and with a breathtaking bespoke wedding dress by Velvet Johnstone. Delicious florals by Iris & Co complement the dress perfectly, and the wonderfully natural images just go to show that a little rain can never dampen the beauty of an English wedding.

The theme of the shoot was bohemian and spring.

The lovely bouquet was made by Iris & co. Gemma had picked springy colours such as orange, yellow and purple.

The beautiful model Sian was wearing a stunning dress called “velveteeni” that was created by Velvet Johnstone, a wedding designer based in Hackney.

The rain poured down. But as the make up and hair was prepared and we had arrived at Hampstead Heath, the rain stopped suddenly. I tried to capture the movement from the dress and the wild and free mood with nature’s help! I wanted the photos to speak of freedom, nature and beauty. With a little help from mother earth and the movement of the dress, I think the mood was captured.”
