To get on the blog, a wedding photo has to make me feel something. If I’m smiling back, or getting a bit emotional… then the photographer has done their job in capturing not just the timeline and details of the day, but its story and character. And Cris Lowis is a Staffordshire wedding photographer who grabs my heart and gives it a big old shake with every wedding he shares!
I’m Cris, a creative documentary wedding photographer based in Staffordshire.
I’m not one of those bossy photographers who’ll be shouting at everyone to stand in certain places.
My aim is to focus on the natural moments to tell the story of your wedding as you really remember it.
We’ll still do some posed shots and family groups if you want them, but my main focus is to capture an authentic representation of your wedding day.
When you look back through the photos in years to come you’ll remember every tingle and goosebump as if you were reliving the day all over again.
If you’d rather spend your day having a good time than posing for countless pictures I might be your man.
My couples don’t want a formal approach, they want great photos that show the day how it really was.
I’m a recommended photographer at some of the best venues in the area including Pendrell Hall, The Mill Barns, The Ashes, Heaton House Farm and The Moat House and I cover a large area including Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire.
I also photograph weddings further afield and throughout Europe.
