So happy Valentine’s Day to you!! I hope whatever your plans, you’re feeling loved and blessed this morning. I’m getting ready for a really special friend’s wedding tomorrow and I can’t wait!! So I think we’re doing all our Valentine’s Day stuff on the 15th… we’ll miss the rush in the restaurants and have a wonderfully cosy meal!

I had to save up something really special for the blog on Valentine’s Day of course. This is a breathtakingly beautiful bridal shoot, loosely based around a romantic ‘French style chateau’ in the New Forest, Hampshire. Thank you to lovely Frances Moore for sharing it with us – if we weren’t all feeling loved up already, oh my goodness am I in the mood for a little romance now!

Charlotte Wise Photography & Frances Moore teamed up to create this beautiful French inspired bridal editorial. The look is elegant and feminine, using soft blue, white and grey to keep the styling timeless. Charlotte’s images are naturally light and feminine, with a relaxed and romantic style I absolutely adore. Her fine art photography style is perfectly suited to Hale Park.

The Tara Keely gown from Hannah Elizabeth Bridal Boutique is stunning – with stately home appeal and a longer train, but keeping a seductive French look and just oozing glamour and style. Teamed with Rachel Simpson shoes with gold beadwork on the toe, it’s just perfect.

Florist Jo Hicks created a fabulous bouquet with white peonies and peach roses which fits perfectly with the look – the delicate blue flowers and gorgeous greenery work together to create an on trend bridal bouquet for a French-inspired bride

Hale Park is sat in beautiful grounds, with an incredible lime tree-lined drive leading all the way to the house. The venue is next to the river Avon, with a church in the grounds for couples to get wed.

The elegant stationery by Peony & Rose is beautiful, fitting perfectly with the theme and captured with this gorgeous ring box by La Petit Box.

Hair and makeup was designed by JMS Hair Design and Frances Moore, with a classic Hollywood wave which can then be softened to give a more elegant and relaxed up-do. Make up is romantic and youthful, with a touch of smoke on the eyes and blusher for an English rose glow!

And last but never least – the showstopping cake by Just As Delicious – soft blue with handcrafted lace decorations, and three tiers of French-inspired elegance and timeless beauty.
