Let the celebrations of love continue! Today’s wedding is just beautiful: Rebecca and David’s July wedding was intimate and elegant, with wonderful summer flowers and simple styling touches. It’s a wonderful reminder of summer days and makes me smile just to see the bright florals and the love between this gorgeous pair! Images are by super lovely English Wedding member, Tara from Pudding & Plum Photography. The venue is Dodmoor House, Daventry.

How did you choose your photographer?

We met Tara at a wedding fayre in Leicester and liked her straight away. Both her and her pictures were so lively and colourful which was exactly what we wanted for our wedding.

Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!

Absolutely! Tara and her assistant did a fantastic job capturing the day. We love the mix of portraits and candid moments between us and our guests. The attention to detail in the photographs is amazing and really shows off all the little details that made the day so special.

Hey lovely! How was your weekend? I had a fantastic calligraphy workshop on Friday, followed by two Christmas shopping trips over the weekend… and yes, I’m almost done! We shopped locally in the Lake District and bought lots of gorgeous handmade bits and pieces for everyone. I still have my man to buy for… leaving the trickiest until last!

Today I’m sharing a gorgeous wedding which lovely Simon and Karla from Sky Photography submitted to the blog a few weeks ago. Gorgeous bride and groom Kayleigh and Kieron were married at Bassmead Manor Barns back in the summer (remember those wonderful sunny weeks which seemed to go on forever?!) and their day is just blissfully beautiful.

“Our wedding was just the best day ever, surrounded by our favourite people. It all happened in the beautiful English countryside during the 2018 heatwave.

We wanted to keep the day relatively informal. The venue didn’t require a lot of decoration, due to its gorgeous surroundings. We kept the decor quite natural, in a simple navy, white and blush theme. The flowers were a dusty pink rose ‘Amnesia’ and big fluffy white ‘David Austin’ roses amongst lots of luscious eucalyptus and greenery.
