Sean & Charlotte’s Coombe Lodge wedding was relaxed, fun filled and full of love. Their theme of rustic romance in blush, cream and greens incorporated traditional touches: lace, hessian, lots of candles and lots of florals. Today’s wedding is elegant and timeless, with styling touches which are perfectly on trend, and images which take my breath away. The gorgeous bride and groom are Isabella and Paul, who met seven years go. Paul proposed at Christmas, and the wedding happened in March… with just 3 months to plan everything I think they did an amazing job!
Isabella wears a stunning Rosa Clara Couture wedding dress, which she bought from The Wedding Atelier in London. Paul’s son gave Isabella away, and their daughters (in stunning green gowns) were the bridesmaids.
Today’s wedding is blissfully beautiful, classic in style and with a sophisticated wintry look. The styling is elegant and light, using silver and grey – the bridesmaids’ dark dresses are fabulous. And I’ve totally fallen for Izzy and Tom – they look so wonderfully happy together, not to mention absolutely gorgeous! Izzy’s dress is a showstopper: her smile is infectious. You’ll love these two! Discovering little gems of wedding venues around the UK is part of the charm of writing a wedding blog. Mostly, I get to explore the nooks and crannies of beautiful old houses and quirky wedding barns through my screen, when lovely couples and photographers submit their weddings for a feature. Occasionally I get to visit a wedding venue and discover it first-hand, and when those venues are a little too far away from my home in the Lakes I’m lucky to have English Wedding team members dotted around the country who can discover them for me!
