Happy Monday lovelies! How was your weekend? We were at a wedding in beautiful Derbyshire, so I’m still over the moon feeling happy for my amazing friend Beth and new hubby Peter – we had the absolute best weekend ever. So I was so excited to stay in the wedding mood and share another gorgeous day with you all today – we’re sharing gorgeous bride and groom Amy and Chris’s wedding all the way from sunny Devon, with our friends Devon wedding photographers Howell Jones Photography behind the camera lens!

Good morning, beautiful! How are you on this rather chilly October (!!) day? And can you even believe it’s properly autumn now? I know I can’t… but the best thing about autumn is all the fabulous weddings I’m seeing from lovely couples and photographers all around the country. This has to be the best time of year for wedding blogs, and I feel so lucky! Keep the submissions coming, guys!

We’d like to wish a heartfelt Happy Anniversary to Jenny Packham – so many of our beautiful English Wedding brides have worn her gowns on your best days ever, and since our own launch in 2009 we’ve become huge fans of Jenny’s inimitable bridal gowns.

Jenny’s classic dresses – relaunched to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Jenny Packham brand – ooze film star grace and splendour: they’re intricate and beautiful, softly glittering and breathtakingly elegant.

We’re delighted to announce the best selling styles to be reintroduced in celebration of this milestone year are Willow, Eden, Azalea, Clare, Joy and Aspen – all available now at the brand’s London flagship store.

I was really interested to read a couple of weeks ago that Jenny Packham wouldn’t be launching her bridal collections via catwalk shows. Her decision makes so much sense to me: for years I’ve seen – and mostly rejected – bridal designers’ submissions where all I see is dress after dress photographed under harsh lighting, against a dull background, surrounded by the ankles and handbags of boutique owners and stockists (sat either side of the catwalk, but still in shot). It was all very meh, (even in the days when meh was a new word!).
