Hey lovely! I have another fabulous wedding to share with you today – this one I totally adore for all the pretty styling touches, and for our gorgeous couple whose stunning smiles are making me grin back at my screen today! I love the leafy, foliage-centred stationery and the cute knitted people (my mum used to make these! Anyone else?!), oh and the gloriously light and airy colour palette which just couldn’t be more perfect for a marquee wedding. Photos are by our wonderfully talented friends at Amanda Karen Photography (and Danielle & Joe’s review of one of my fave wedding photographers makes me a very happy wedding blogger indeed!).

Amanda Karen Photography was recommended by someone we knew and I looked on Amanda’s social media and website and knew it was the style I wanted – natural and in the moment.

One of the best holidays I ever had was in Cornwall a couple of years ago for my birthday. We walked sections of the coastal path through fields of wild bluebells, and I’ll never forget the scent of those beautiful landscapes. We were glamping as well, so this shoot really reminds me of that magical holiday! So wedding photographers: send me bluebells and you win. I adore them. (If you love them too and you’re interested in protecting our native species, check out the Big Bluebell Watch and take part in 2019!)

This gorgeous bluebell-filled styled wedding shoot is perfect for late spring wedding inspiration. Our lovely friend and English Wedding Directory member Cassandra June sent it to me, so I will let her explain how she brought this timeless look together. Claire xxx

Baby, it’s cold outside… but you know, I’m still loving snuggly jumpers and sneaky hot chocolates and evening cuddles… winter has a spirit all of its own and I’m in no hurry to see the end of these chilly, beautiful days. But I’m biased: I’ve been completely and utterly won over by today’s gorgeous winter wedding inspiration. The word wonderland was made for the beauty you’re about to see… a combination of a luxe winter wonderland with a hint of silver, fluffy cotton candy, and geode crystals.

The Deer Park Country House Hotel is a fantastic wedding venue in Devon, with so many pretty locations for photographs in the grounds and inside the main hotel itself. Amber from Liberty Pearl Photography organised the perfect winter photoshoot with some amazing suppliers.

Today’s wedding blog is all about the romance – with wonderfully decadent and pretty peony bouquets in the fabulous setting of Froyle Park.

The styling elements come together beautifully to create a soft, romantic French theme: with soft pastel colours and a pink pop from peonies in the florals. The dress is divine; hair and make up is soft and romantic. There are DIY elements – the table plan was made from charity shop frames and looks fab! And I adore the stationery by Hip Hip Hooray. The shoot was curated by Lyn from Lily Marie wedding and event planning, and she has written a little about her inspiration for the day.

My first experience of Froyle Park was driving past one evening; and glancing up the stunning, beautifully lit lavender and tree lined driveway, which reminded me of places I had visited holidaying in France; such a romantic setting.

So I jumped at the chance of organising a shoot here when approached by make-up Artist Natasha Wiggins and photographer Graham Nixon.
