Lovely couple Pippa & David had a joyful spring elopement in Dartmoor back in the days when spring was simply glorious spring, and we could all go out and get wed and do all the wonderful things! I wanted to share it with you today as a reminder that normality WILL resume, and that the future can still be more beautiful than ever. Patience, my lovelies – this will pass. So let’s join the happy couple who took spring as the inspiration behind their wedding theme. The sense of joy and optimism at seeing the first green shoots of the season and splashes of yellow daffodils. Their vision was for everything to be fresh and vibrant, offset by white and earthy tones and textures. Their wedding venue Ever After – A Dartmoor Wedding took care of all the sourcing and styling, and Pippa & David’s day is just perfect. All images are captured by super lovely human and wedding photographer Clare Kinchin Photography.

I’d marry these two myself… gorgeous Martha & Phil had the most joyful, character-filled, fun and beautiful wedding at Bruisyard. They say the LOVELIEST things about their wedding suppliers – lovely Emily Tyler Photography gets a glowing and heartfelt review from the happy couple. They’ve also recommended a huge list of Suffolk wedding suppliers from personal experience, so do check those out (at the end of the feature). Do NOT scroll too fast through all the images though, because they’re BLOODY BEAUTIFUL. What an amazing day… Martha, Phil, congratulations! We think you’re awesome!!

Hey lovely! I have another fabulous wedding to share with you today – this one I totally adore for all the pretty styling touches, and for our gorgeous couple whose stunning smiles are making me grin back at my screen today! I love the leafy, foliage-centred stationery and the cute knitted people (my mum used to make these! Anyone else?!), oh and the gloriously light and airy colour palette which just couldn’t be more perfect for a marquee wedding. Photos are by our wonderfully talented friends at Amanda Karen Photography (and Danielle & Joe’s review of one of my fave wedding photographers makes me a very happy wedding blogger indeed!).

One of the best holidays I ever had was in Cornwall a couple of years ago for my birthday. We walked sections of the coastal path through fields of wild bluebells, and I’ll never forget the scent of those beautiful landscapes. We were glamping as well, so this shoot really reminds me of that magical holiday! So wedding photographers: send me bluebells and you win. I adore them. (If you love them too and you’re interested in protecting our native species, check out the Big Bluebell Watch and take part in 2019!)
