I’m a total paper freak. I love exploring art shops and specialist stationery suppliers’ little havens of handmade papers, running my hands along the torn edges of any new stock I can find. I know it’s weird.

But there’s a thing I can’t get out of my head: I read on a wedding blog a week or two ago that one of the key trends for 2018 wedding stationery would be paper.

Not card, not pocketfolds, not even transparencies. Good old earthy, natural, handmade paper.
Have you ever considered a destination wedding in the UK? Gathering up your nearest and dearest and spending a weekend somewhere beautiful, idyllic and romantic? There are so many spots you could discover and get married in without having to fly / transport all your wedding bits & pieces overseas – and lovely Tyn Dwr Hall is one.
I would love to travel more, to adventure to far-flung countries like some of my photographer friends do. It makes me smile to see my calligraphy heading to Australia, Norway, Italy, the States and Japan while I write away in my little home office! Hey lovelies! I hope you’re having a wonderful week. I’m spending today making up my little calligraphy workshop packs for Friday – and I’m still getting enquiries about the class. I thought I’d post here to say this week is full (to bursting!) and I’m so sorry I can’t take any more students – but I’d love to book you in for my 6th October workshop, which still has 6 spaces.
Every workshop is for absolute beginners, and covers lettering with a dip pen and nib as well as brush pen lettering. I also bring along my little pop-up shop so you can stock up on inks, nibs and even buy my book on the day!
