Forgive me, lovelies, because today’s wedding has more images than I normally post… it’s just that there are so many little stories in today’s gorgeous celebration, and the little sequences of images tell them so beautifully! (Watch out for my fave – when Shane sees Eleni in her second dress his jaw literally drops!) So welcome to the wedding of gorgeous couple Eleni & Shane, who wed in October at Belair House in Dulwich Village, London. Their photographer was our lovely friend and English Wedding sponsor, London wedding photographer Emily Black.
This is how to get noticed by a wedding blogger. In fact… I will be amazed if every wedding blogger in the world doesn’t want a little piece of this shoot… because it’s divine. And different. And creative. And has more wow factor than any other bridal collection shoot I’ve seen – ever.
The child inside me wants to play in the amazing glass chapel. The calligrapher side of me wants to write something beautiful on every inch of gorgeous stained glass. And the girl in my heart wants to dance summer days away in the incredibly pretty and romantic boho inspired wedding dresses by BHLDN.
Will you buy your dress from a traditional boutique, online or from an independent designer? Whichever you choose, the choice is wider than ever before and you absolutely mustn’t feel pressured to stick with tradition… my top tips for wedding dress shopping are to avoid Ebay at all costs, consider Oxfam and other charities, and think seriously about buying online. Which is where the latest collection from international bridal store BHLDN comes in…
The Twice Enchanted collection is rich with choice – there’s delicious embroidery and dazzling beadwork alongside glamorous back detail and exciting, glamorous cascading skirts – I adore the new collection from BHLDN and I hope it inspires you too!
You just can’t beat a theatrical venue – and today’s is a showstopper! You’ll love it… Sarah and Nigel were married in Brighton and had their reception at Brighton Music Hall… with three fabulous tipis for dancing the night away!
Sarah is a genius – she wore a beautiful bridesmaid dress instead of a wedding dress: it’s elegant and graceful and beautifully different. She looks amazing. I would love to see more brides doing the same: there are some incredible evening dresses and bridesmaid dresses out there… and they’d make the loveliest bridal gowns!
I’m delighted to share with you the brand new wedding dress collection from BHLDN – here are my personal favourite picks from over 30 new gowns in the collection, which is available to buy online.
You’ll adore the stunning creative images shot in Mexico (OK so usually I feature shoots from England… but it’s January, I needed the escape!) where BHLDN’s creative concept of “The Painted Garden” is brought to life by model Vlada Roslyakova dressed in ethereal looks that mirror the whimsical nature of her surroundings.
