… and suddenly it feels like summer! Today we’re sharing this wonderful country style wedding in Kent. With a stunning boho bride and dapper groom, dried flowers and really special personal touches, this truly is a perfect day! Huge congratulations and thanks to lovely couple Iona & Ed for sharing their story and reviewing all their amazing suppliers for us. Their recommended Kent wedding photographer is Benjamin Toms, who we’re delighted to say is a member of English Wedding (and one of our top 100 bloody lovely wedding photographers too!) – do check him out if you’re looking for a wedding photographer, won’t you!
I wanted to hug Lisa and Duncan when I read their interview for our blog. They told us, “We’re not big fans of the wedding hype!... Love and fun are all that matter! There is such unnecessary pressure on couples to have the ‘perfect day’.”

The wedding media is HUGE, but printed magazines had a rough couple of years in 2021 and 2022. When weddings stopped and guest numbers were restricted, many major wedding magazines disappeared from our shops. The ‘wedding hype’ faded, just a little… and perhaps that’s no bad thing.
Lisa and Duncan’s is a beautifully unconventional wedding, and one we’re more than thrilled to be able to share with you today. The couple’s own words of wisdom are golden so we won’t waffle on, other than to mention their amazing Kent wedding photographer Benjamin Toms, who’s kindly shared his images of the happy pair with us today. Over to Lisa & Duncan because we LOVE their wedding story:
