If any of you lovelies have the Monday blues, we’re about to help whisk them away with some gorgeous real wedding inspo. Sherelle and Matt are the loveliest couple, glowing with happiness on their wedding day, which has everything from gorgeous styling touches to a fabulous setting and stunning portraits. I first saw their pics when our lovely friend Miriam from English Wedding Directory members The Artisan Wedding House got in touch – and I fell in love with every bit of this wedding! I just know you will too.

When planning your wedding, you’ll inevitably develop a carefully curated checklist of everything you want and need for the big day. From something old and something blue, to the perfect table setting and of course, the cake, a wedding is unlike any other event.

One of the most important factors to consider is the venue. The perfect location will provide you with beautiful photos, all the right facilities and a setting for the day you have been dreaming of. However, it’s important to remember the criteria will differ slightly depending on the season. The summer months bring a unique set of requirements to consider, such as air conditioning, outdoor seating and summer refreshments.

If you’ve ever lived in a little English village, you’ll get how perfectly these images capture the spirit of such a place. I’m a village girl – I grew up in a tiny Cumbrian village, moved away, moved back to another Cumbrian village and put roots down here – I just love village life! So Clare and Phil’s day leapt out from all of the submissions in my inbox for today’s real wedding feature. My fave pic is the one with the whole bridal party sat by the wall… it reminds me of the lyrics to Pulp’s Disco 2000…
