I’m sharing some favourite showstopper wedding cakes today! All of these beauties have been featured on English Wedding in recent months. There’s something for every couple, from city chic and modern cakes to soft and fluffy florals.

This was going to be a “10 of our favourite cakes” kinda post… but I found seventeen and couldn’t resist sharing them all!

To end the week I’m over the moon to be sharing this beautiful styled photoshoot with you. Dotted with gorgeous yellow tones and fabulous flowers and foliage, it’s chic and a little bit different from the norm.

I want to very carefully point out that this is NOT a real wedding. Wedding blogs get lots of new readers every new year, and it’s really important to explain why we publish styled shoots like this one – and what they are!

We were thrilled to learn that Chapel House Estate has been named Wedding Venue of the Year by the prestigious Beautiful South Tourism Awards. Chapel House Estate joined English Wedding in March 2023 and was only established in July 2022. They’ve had incredible success with all the hard work they put in to making this a dream wedding venue, and we’re over the moon to share their good news! Chapel House Estate won the gold award for Wedding Venue of the Year and was commended for being an ‘essential and exquisite destination wedding venue’.

According to recent data, the main cause of bad sleep for many Brits is stress and anxiety. And with the run-up to your wedding causing these feelings to surface, it is no wonder you might be struggling to get some much-needed dozing before your “I do’s”.

Paul Muersan at Lake District Country Hotels, says: “A wedding day requires a lot of energy. So, ensuring you get enough sleep the night before is crucial, but easier said than done. When you want nothing more than to see your partner, finding comfort in your new sleeping arrangement for the night is necessary.”
