Hello there lovelies! Does it feel as though spring time is on its way to you yet? No fear if not: we have a bunny on the blog today. Kinda. 😉 This is woodland wedding inspo with a city twist: the venue is The Terrace on Piccadilly and the bunny is from Easigrass! But we love him all the same. The shoot was organised and designed by key members of the UKAWP – the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners, whose members have been a big part of English Wedding since our launch back in 2009.

Reportage wedding photography has my heart. In the 10 years since English Wedding began I’ve seen thousands of weddings. They all have a story, they’re all personal and unique and beautiful. And the images which capture the spirit and story of a wedding are the images which will stand the test of time. Always.

So it’s with genuine pleasure that I’d like to introduce you to one of my favourite reportage wedding photographers in the UK. Sussex wedding photographer Martin Beddall specialises in reportage photography (otherwise known as documentary wedding photography, or wedding photojournalism) – his website is a brilliant place to go to see what reportage wedding photography is all about.

Happy Thursday, beautiful! Hasn’t January flown by… we’ve been super busy here at English Wedding HQ with lots of enquiries about our new wedding invitations and calligraphy service! Before the month is out, I wanted to share a quick reminder of some of our favourites – these are absolutely perfect for boho weddings, rustic and relaxed celebrations with an elegant twist.

All of our invitations to date are on display in our Etsy shop, and I’d love for you to take a look and let me know which ones you love best! Meanwhile I’m working on a batch of brand new wedding stationery designs which we’re launching at Askham Hall in February. Exciting!!!

Belvoir Castle near Grantham is a beautiful Regency Castle in the heart of England with breathtaking landscaped grounds. With striking sculptures, paintings and objets d’art, the Castle is a perfect backdrop for unique, stylish weddings and is also a popular film location, used in the ‘Young Victoria’ and most recently ‘Victoria and Abdul’. It really is an incredible venue to host your wedding.

The English Wedding Directory is where you can find all of our favourite wedding suppliers. Our Facebook page is updated with new vendors when they join us, and the Directory is full of brilliant photographers, stationers, florists, stylists… everything you might need for the wedding of your dreams!

These lovely people have joined the English Wedding Directory in the last couple of weeks – and we have more coming up to share with you soon! Do take a moment to discover them, and if you like what you see why not get in touch and even book this weekend?
