This year on English Wedding we’ve been lucky enough to explore some more of England’s finest wedding venues in person, by kind invitation of the owners. I’ve most recently stayed at The Wordsworth Hotel and Martin Dabek (a brilliant Bristol wedding photographer and member of English Wedding) was invited to review Berwick Lodge at the beginning of the year. This time, we were asked to review the Orchardleigh Estate, which is just 10 miles from Bath – and lucky Martin was ideally situated to go and find out all about this amazing wedding venue.

I have been waiting for MONTHS to share this stunning wedding with you… lovely Lisa & Mark were married in December – and the Christmas tree just seemed perfect to share with you right now. Who has their tree up? Ours is on its way down from the loft tonight and I’m excited to get the baubles out later! It won’t compare to this beauty though…
As those beautifully frosty mornings return, I have a truly magical bridal editorial to share with you today. Inspired by Frozen, with an elegant and wonderfully enchanting colour palette of ice blue and white, this shoot from a talented bunch of wedding suppliers at Cavokay’s Old Milking Parlour will inspire winter weddings and festive tables alike! Welcome to the first week of December! Are you all black-Fridayed out?! I know I am! Let’s escape for a little while with a stunningly beautiful wedding, informally styled around a rosemary and lavender theme and beautifully captured by Jonny Barratt Photography. Bride Nikki wears a wonderfully sparkling Phase Eight dress, while Gareth’s suit is tailor made by Gieves and Hawkes. They look fabulous, happy and SO in love! I couldn’t think of a better beginning to our week. I hope you love this as much as I do!
