Don’t you just love seeing something different on a wedding blog? Inspiration comes in many flavours, but as a blogger I love to discover wedding style ideas with an edge, a twist – a different look to the norm. Today’s shoot stands out from the crowd for its attitude; I love the spiky bouquet; the wild, untamed backdrop of the beach and the contrasting softness of the dresses from Frock and Soul Ltd. I hope you love it as much as I do!
I love the vibrancy of today’s shoot – capturing the bride in those last moments before the time comes to walk down the aisle. The details are exquisite: timeless in style, yet bold and contemporary in style. That bouquet…
Submitted by Otaduy to the English Wedding Blog, this styled shoot is all about focusing on those key pivotal moments with the bride before she says ‘I do’.
Keen to focus on the female form we choose two very feminine beautiful dresses from Otaduy, and a strong make-up look – perfect for bringing out the bride’s features and putting her in the spotlight.
Today’s woodland wedding shoot is wonderful!!! I LOVE the ribbon tipi and the bouquet – and the dreamy background and styling touches are just incredible! The venue is Oakwood Weddings, a brand new wedding venue nestled within ancient woodland near Ashford. All images are by lovely English Wedding Directory member Helen England Photography, who is based in Kent.

The theme was enchanted woodland wonderland with a touch of bohemian glamour designed by Claire from Blue Daisies Florist who supplied all the beautiful flowers, and Becky from Your Beautiful Day.
Today’s inspiration feature is wonderfully stripped back, individual and super beautiful – from a group of small independent wedding suppliers at Lainston House.

“We wanted to involve smaller independent suppliers, Karolina Grycko who made the cakes, White Designs Bridal, Hampshire Slate, and Byootefel. Having the opportunity for them to work alongside established talent like Brides of Winchester, Little Lillies and Hayley Savage Photography, who was our photographer for the day, was a great collaboration opportunity for everyone involved.
Did you see our gorgeous summer wedding style feature this lunchtime? We fell head over heels in love with all the wonderful greenery and timeless styling details – which couldn’t be a better fit for the English Wedding Blog! And to keep our summer spirits high, I have a really special, magical film from the shoot to share with you now.
Huge thanks as ever to McGill Sister Films for being so damn amazing at what they do; and big love to Kirsten at The Little Wedding Helper for putting all of this loveliness together and sharing it with us today!
