Wedding shows are an amazing way to discover designers and talents you would never dream even existed… and working alongside Chosen Wedding Fair has led me to some breathtaking discoveries from true talents in the wedding industry. I’m thrilled to be introducing you to lovely Eden b. Studio today – designer Hannah creates the prettiest bridal accessories which are right up my street.
Eden b. Studio will be at the Chosen Wedding Fair in London this Sunday the 8th of October.
Designer Hannah started Eden b. Studio because she really wanted to create something that was completely her vision. Having always loved the little details in design, the intricacy of this work suits her perfectly. Eden b is based in Tunbridge Wells, at Hannah’s small home studio.
“I’m inspired by natural wildflowers and like to keep my designs quite organic and favour muted tones…there’s definitely a boho vibe to my work.”
“I use Porcelain clay to handcraft all of the flowers used in my hairpieces and hand wire every single bead myself (my nails don’t look their best!) I try to work with UK based, independent brands for any outsourcing… i.e. the hand dyed silk ribbons I use to tie my hairvines are from an amazing lady called Nicola at Bertie and Fred.
My background is in Fashion design…I studied fashion womenswear at Uni, then went on to become a lingerie designer for a high street retailer. After doing that for a while I moved onto working as a design assistant for a bridal boutique (always been obsessed with bridal design…I used to prance about in my mum’s veil when I was a kid!!)
I sell through my website and via several lovely stockists, mainly in London and the South East…but I have a stockist all the way over in Australia!
