It’s really important to me as a wedding blogger that I introduce every feature I share with you. Each photograph, each wedding styling idea is carefully selected for the blog and I like to explain why I love the articles we publish… but honestly today I couldn’t dream of writing a better introduction for you than lovely Laura from The Rustic Dresser has already done! Every detail, every image takes my breath away – the location and the gorgeous images by English Wedding team member Emily Black Photography are just the dreamiest. I can only call this wedding blog gold, and leave you in Laura’s capable hands to read and see more!

Happy Monday lovelies! How cold has it been this weekend though?! Even today I’m in my snuggliest jumper and slipper boots (the joy of working from home!) – but as ever, the beauty of a wedding blog is that we can take you back to warm summer days! And I have a beauty of a farm wedding for you today, with a (genius or what?!) chicken and egg theme. The cake is one of my fave details – and our beautiful bride and groom are here to tell you all about their day.

Hey lovely! I hope your Monday is sailing by happily – mine definitely is, as I have a gorgeous week of weddings, inspiration and ideas for you lined up this week. I’m also busy writing lovely calligraphy bits and pieces for my sister-in-law and her fiancé’s wedding this FRIDAY – eeeeek!!! It’s all VERY exciting at English Wedding HQ this week!

The more I look at this gorgeous couple’s photos, the more I love everything about their day. It’s wonderfully casual, massively fun and full of the best homemade touches by talented friends and family. Tess and Ben got married near Bath and well and truly demonstrate what can be done for a wedding on a high street budget. Tess looks stunning in a bridal jumpsuit from Anthropologie and goes barefoot with anklets from India for the ceremony until putting on her white Nike Air Max 90s later in the day. Her hair and makeup was provided by Faye O’Connell.

Coombe Lodge in Blagdon is one of the loveliest wedding venues in Somerset – as impressive as any stately home on the outside, and beautiful on the inside too! Gemma and Will chose this perfect spot for their romantic summer wedding, and our lovely sponsor Sandy from Love In Focus to capture their day. Gemma is absolutely stunning and I know you’ll love all the magical moments from this classic English wedding.
