Hello! How are you this lovely morning? I’m deliriously happy – I’m just head over heels in love with today’s wedding. Heather and Gary chose Maunsel House for their vintage travel wedding – a fabulous venue indeed. And then they decided on vintage Vespas for wedding transport. Now as you might know, I ride a Vespa and I’m always, always looking out for Vespa weddings to feature. This one is special – and just look at those beautiful little scoots!

Today’s gorgeous couple tick all the boxes for me – they chose a superb wedding photographer, Neale James, who gets a glowing review in the wedding report (towards the end of the blog feature today). And as further proof of their excellent taste and style, my lovely friend Joanne from Vintage Twee made their on the day stationery (wonderful wedding menus, orders of service and table numbers to fit with the vintage travel wedding theme).

Hello again! I’m happy to be bringing you a little sprinkle of summer again this morning. Sophie and Jonathan had a lovely English country garden inspired wedding and were blessed with glorious sunshine. Today’s blog is full of the prettiest details in delicious pastels – and of course, a beautiful bride, handsome groom and some romantic moments to capture your heart.

The images today come from Ross Alexander at Moment Photography. Sophie’s wedding report includes an amazing review for Ross along with details of other top wedding suppliers (check out the florist too! – wow!). The wedding reception was at The Castle Hotel in Taunton, Somerset.

So let’s have a look at all those beautiful photos and then read Sophie’s wedding report (at the end of the blog feature today). I should say a huge thank you to Sophie and Jonathan – and congratulations to you both! I’m so pleased to be sharing your wedding on the English Wedding Blog today (you’re making it look soooo pretty!). Thanks also to Ross aka Moment Photography for submitting this wedding 🙂 Claire xxx

Big hugs to everyone reading English Wedding Blog this morning. It’s chilly out there, but I hope you’re having a nice day and keeping wrapped up in Christmas jumpers, scarves, hats, mittens… all the lovely new woolly things we all get to snuggle in at this time of year! For me it’s a day of family and friends again, and I can’t wait to catch up with everyone. In the meantime, here’s a lovely real UK wedding on the blog today.

Kristy and Jamie were married at Clevedon Hall and chose pretty baby pinks and classic styling for their wedding day. I love the images too – Joseph Hall captures the romance of the day so beautifully in his gorgeous wedding photography. With thanks to beautiful bride Kristy for sharing a lovely wedding report with us today – and watch out for one of the very last images, of the little flower girl – it’s so pretty. I know you’ll love this wedding 🙂 Enjoy! Claire xxx

Oh my… if this isn’t the perfect English Wedding then I’ll eat my top hat… I spotted Vicky and Chris’s wedding at St Audries Park on facebook on Monday (check out Somerset wedding photographer Simon Biffen’s facebook page).

I emailed Simon immediately to ask permission to share it with all of you… and then realised he’d already emailed me and offered. Lovely guy. And that’ll teach me to play on facebook before I’ve checked my emails, won’t it…

But do go and read all about Vicky and Chris’s wedding. It’s beautiful – there’s everything from one of our very best wedding venues through to croquet and a lovely bulldog in the best man’s speech, a stunning bride, beautiful dress, delicious sunshine and an orangery wedding – quintessentially English. Beautiful, and recommended reading!

Coombe Lodge wedding blog Capture It Photography (36)Beautiful brides and gorgeous grooms aside for a moment, fans of English Wedding Blog may have noticed I’m a sucker for a cute page boy or flower girl… and I’ve a feeling today’s little star might have the same effect on you! This entire wedding is beautiful, happy and full of little moments with family which will tug on your heartstrings as much as they did mine.

Harry and Natasha married at the very beautiful Coombe Lodge wedding venue in Somerset (I had a flurry of submissions from Coombe Lodge wedding photographers recently, which was fabulous!) and chose some of my favourite wedding suppliers – Cardlab you know I love you! – for their day. The images are all by the lovely Richard and Sarah of Capture It Wedding Photography.

Enjoy!

Who proposed, and how?

Harry took me on a steep, muddy walk to the top of Burledge Hill overlooking Chew Valley Lake on a bright, wintry morning in November 2010. A spontaneous walk and wellies in the car may have raised my suspicions slightly! He got down on one knee and presented me with the most beautiful diamond. He even smuggled a small bottle of champagne up there with him!
