Beautiful bride Siobhan and gorgeous groom Ross got married in the springtime, and were blessed with a beautifully sunny day. I fell in love with Siobhan’s bouquet of ranunculus, freesia and eucalyptus with tiny narcissus and eucalyptus – it’s perfect for springtime and every bit as gorgeous as a summer bouquet.
Orchardleigh House is a stunning venue in North Somerset with fabulous, lavish rooms, the perfect venue for a romantic English wedding. Driving into the estate and along the winding driveway to the main house there’s a real wow moment that gives you a feeling of excited anticipation.
Emily & Andrew’s “accidentally 50s tea party styled” wedding is just wonderful! It’s the loveliest mix of quirky and fun, with gorgeous styling and details and the most beautiful bride and handsome groom! The fab couple were married just outside Taunton in Somerset. Emily got ready at her home which was right next door to the church, and after the ceremony everyone travelled by vintage bus over to Mount Somerset Hotel for the celebrations. The venue is just fabulous: a 19 bedroom Regency country house set in four acres of beautiful grounds.
Today’s featured wedding was a classic white wedding with the most beautiful church arch. A very relaxed elegant feel with lots of involvement from the family – and the prettiest florals you can imagine. I just love the archway covered in flowers and foliage by lovely Caroline, owner of Foxy Buds Floral Design – it makes the prettiest backdrop for photos and has a traditional feel to it which I think is wonderful.
Today’s real wedding is romantic, feminine and oh so pretty – the kind of wedding so many girls dream of, brought to life with a wonderfully elegant style. Beautiful bride Amy’s dress is divine – I adore the palest pink hue which works beautifully with the bridesmaids’ soft grey dresses. Words and images are by our lovely sponsor, Somerset wedding photographer Sandy at Love In Focus.
Getting to shoot any Somerset wedding photography on a bright and sunny day is one of the many upsides of my job – so getting to photograph a wedding at Aldwick Court Farm on a bright and sunny day is just about as good as this job gets! Amy and Ben chose the perfect venue for their spring wedding.
The more I look at this gorgeous couple’s photos, the more I love everything about their day. It’s wonderfully casual, massively fun and full of the best homemade touches by talented friends and family. Tess and Ben got married near Bath and well and truly demonstrate what can be done for a wedding on a high street budget. Tess looks stunning in a bridal jumpsuit from Anthropologie and goes barefoot with anklets from India for the ceremony until putting on her white Nike Air Max 90s later in the day. Her hair and makeup was provided by Faye O’Connell.
