Morning everyone! These two are the most adorable couple – and with an effortlessly beautiful style I adore. Kate’s Pronovias dress – the detail on Jack’s M&S suit – the bouquet, OH the bouquet!! Their day has everything, it’s gorgeous and magical and everything a wedding should be, from the ceremony at St Marks Church in Dunham Massey to the celebrations in the village hall afterwards. There are fabulous photos here to make you swoon, giggle and cry happy tears all at once. Huge thank yous to lovely Jess Yarwood Photography for sharing her images of this stunning September wedding, and massive congrats to gorgeous bride and groom Kate and Jack for being so damn amazing. LOVE this!!
Happy Friday everyone! Before I share today’s wedding I have a special offer for anyone who can make it to Manchester next Friday (7th December) – there are a handful of places left at my modern calligraphy workshop and you can SAVE 10% if you book your places today! It’s a festive calligraphy class so lots of fun… it’s for absolute beginners and BRILLIANT for anyone with wedding place names to write or invites to send in 2019! Book your places in my Etsy shop if you’d like to come along!
Although today’s wedding starts with a church service, the vibe is wonderfully whimsical and woodlandy, with celebrations under canvas and even a hand fasting ceremony in the afternoon! The venue is Bedfordshire’s enchanting Tofte Manor; the photographer is our lovely friend and English Wedding member Nicola Norton Photography.
Gorgeous couple Georgina and Ben had a relaxed and beautiful wedding in the summer. Their day is beautifully styled with glorious bouquets of pink peonies, purple and coral blooms with splashes of greenery and fabulous textures. The peony styling continues through to the wedding cake, which is displayed prettily on rustic wooden tables at the wedding breakfast. Georgina’s stunning lace dress is the star of the show, and her delicate flower crown is just beautiful!
If your spouse to be is out on their bike this Sunday afternoon, then this is for YOU! If you’ve both been cycling today and you’re relaxing after an exhilarating day in the saddle, then you’re going to love this more than anything you’ve ever seen on a wedding blog. Natalie and James – who’s a keen cyclist! – had a cycling themed wedding in August, and incorporated some ingenious styling touches into their day. They chose Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture the day so beautifully! I love the bicycle wheels with foliage on the walls, the table plan with a shelf full of cyclists… actually I love the whole day. And can we skip straight to that cake?!! The beautiful cake was made by Yvonne at Cherry Blossom Cakes and decorated with flowers by Emma at Brompton Buds.

Happy Friday folks! What are your plans for the weekend? We’ll be relaxing after a tough week of man flu, I think!! But let’s hark back to the summer months, shall we? Beautiful Leila & her gorgeous groom Mike had a laid back outdoor wedding in June at the very lovely Shortmead House in Biggleswade, which is set in the Bedfordshire countryside. It had a very English country garden feel, which photographer Lorna Newman has captured beautifully for us. I hope you love this stunning summer wedding as much as I do!
