As I write, the sunshine is peeking through the clouds up here in Cumbria, and the autumn leaves are glowing with fiery colours – it truly is a beautiful time of the year! Today’s couple Sophie and Chris chose to be married in the autumn, and used the most incredible florals to capture the magic of this time of year. Their images are by Kent wedding photographer Terence Joseph Photography, who I’m delighted to say is one of our newest English Wedding members.
I just love how today’s beautiful and intimate wedding travels from city chic to seaside bliss in just a few stunning frames! Beautiful bride Jade wears a minimal and graceful dress from The Pretty Dress company and Gboyega is super stylish in a fitted suit from T.M. Lewin. They describe their September wedding as private, simplistic, intimate, meaningful… and windy! Tess and Tom’s February wedding has so many layers to it: there’s the romance between our gorgeous couple. Then there’s Tess’s Dad’s story (you’ll see what I mean when you start scrolling!), which totally captivated me (and shows just what your wedding day means to the ones you love!) There’s a wonderful camaraderie amongst the beautiful bridesmaids, who shimmer and sparkle through all the photos! And I love how there’s a lovely humour in the day – as Tess puts it, “who doesn’t like a Colin?!”
So many of our brides and grooms on the blog say the best thing about their wedding was having everyone they loved all in one place at the same time: it’s a once-in-a-lifetime scenario and should be treasured! In Chris and Arabella’s case, the temptation to do what friends do when they get together was too much: Chris is a climber, and his friends arrived… so, rocks!!!
Today’s wedding is wonderfully sunny and warm, beautifully styled and sooo romantic – it’s absolutely wonderful and I’ve been so excited to share this with you! Gorgeous couple Amy and Niall were married in Somerset, and styled their day around their backgrounds: as Amy is from Yorkshire and Niall is from Wales they incorporated both of these into their day.
They chose the tythe barn at Priston Mill as their wedding venue, and our lovely friend Priston Mill wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day.
