This week is turning out to be pretty amazing for blog features! I feel spoilt… today we have the most breathtaking wedding, with a bride and groom who flew all the way from Canada to the UK for their wedding. Penny & Jacob were married at Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire. Penny grew up here, and getting wed in her home county was important for the two of them. They had a fun chilled out day with guests from all over the world.

Penny’s dress is sensational. The styling is beautiful. Jacob looks amazing. This is a fabulous summer wedding I know you will love, and with images by lovely Johnny Dent Photography, who is based in Devon.

Hey lovelies! I hope you’re staying safe and cosy in this blustery weather! Today’s wedding is the perfect distraction from the wind and rain – Mimi and Jacob married on the 5th of January and incorporated so many cool ideas into their totally gorgeous and unique DIY wedding. The boys are all rocking a tux and dickie bow (and loving the James Bond look!); Mimi is absolutely stunning in a beautiful lace dress and veil. The details though… and the care and creativity these guys put into making their wedding a true reflection of their personalities is amazing!

I think ultimately weddings are about stories. You’ll reminisce on your day with friends and family for years to come – and there’s always a great story to tell. With that in mind I reached out to some photographer friends to see if they had any stories to share with you for a new series of mini blog posts, and their replies have been fantastic, at times mildly alarming and just generally fascinating! Take today’s story – being ‘fashionably late’ to your wedding is never a good plan!
