I love everything about today’s wedding – the joyful colours, the happy couple and their gorgeous smiles, Charlotte’s fabulous Lucy Can’t Dance dress and Pete’s tweed suit (orange buttons get a YESSS!) and the vibrant floral styling on the tables. Happy Monday lovelies! How was your weekend? We were at a wedding in beautiful Derbyshire, so I’m still over the moon feeling happy for my amazing friend Beth and new hubby Peter – we had the absolute best weekend ever. So I was so excited to stay in the wedding mood and share another gorgeous day with you all today – we’re sharing gorgeous bride and groom Amy and Chris’s wedding all the way from sunny Devon, with our friends Devon wedding photographers Howell Jones Photography behind the camera lens!
If your spouse to be is out on their bike this Sunday afternoon, then this is for YOU! If you’ve both been cycling today and you’re relaxing after an exhilarating day in the saddle, then you’re going to love this more than anything you’ve ever seen on a wedding blog. Natalie and James – who’s a keen cyclist! – had a cycling themed wedding in August, and incorporated some ingenious styling touches into their day. They chose Rockbeare Manor wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture the day so beautifully! I love the bicycle wheels with foliage on the walls, the table plan with a shelf full of cyclists… actually I love the whole day. And can we skip straight to that cake?!! The beautiful cake was made by Yvonne at Cherry Blossom Cakes and decorated with flowers by Emma at Brompton Buds.
They say weddings are all about the love, the romance, the emotions and moments… and then someone shows me THESE BALLOONS and suddenly weddings are all about that instead!! Am I wrong? But aren’t they fun and pretty and brilliant? I’m absolutely thrilled to be sharing today’s wedding because – [balloons, obviously?] – it’s a real family affair, with the little ones even helping to make the wedding favours! The venue is London Shenley Club (Hertfordshire). The pics by our lovely friend and sponsor Nicola Norton Photography are a breath of fresh air, the details are wonderfully creative and Becky and Liam are just the most gorgeous-looking pair too!
