Today’s shoot will inspire brides and suppliers alike – it’s gorgeously full of all the little details we LOVE here on the English Wedding Blog, and all done by NEW wedding businesses from Lancashire. Starting a wedding business is hard – having the passion to create beautiful inspiration pieces like this is amazing and will, I’m sure, contribute to the long term success of these amazing new vendors!

Breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe today’s styled wedding inspiration feature. This is one for every girl who’s ever dreamed of a stately home wedding – the styling touches are exquisite; the florals divine; the photography so perfectly beautiful… with words and images by the incredibly talented Tara Statton Photography at Great Fulford in Devon.
Today’s feature is right up my street – a dreamy bohemian themed bridal shoot with some amazing local wedding suppliers on the coast in Cornwall. Fabulous images capturing each look so beautifully are by Ariana Fenton Photography and a full supplier list is below for all of you lucky Cornish brides and grooms out there!
The shoot was arranged by Kate Mabbett of Blushing Flamingos and the backdrop was a beautiful Bell Tent set up in a field of buttercups overlooking the sea in Zennor, nr. St Ives.
Lets start by saying this blog post is not cool.
In fact, if it were a person at a house party, it would be the person who is left standing in the kitchen, clutching its glass of wine and awkwardly trying to make conversation with anyone who passes by.
Much cooler blog posts, such as the themed shoots and real weddings wander past with a wry smile. In short it is the geek.
However, like in many a Hollywood teen movie, the geek is sometimes the real hero. This type of blog post is in fact possibly one of the more important ones you will read during your wedding planning.
Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a lovely week and – dare I say – looking forward to a fabulous weekend! Is it too early?! {Can you believe it’ll be July on Saturday?} Anyway – let’s focus our hearts on today because I have the loveliest florals from a sublime styled shoot at Morden Hall with Corette Faux Photography to show you.
The colour palette of soft blues and pops of gold and burgundy is fabulous; the styling perfectly elegant for a modern celebration in a historic stately home. Brush pen calligraphy adds a prettily carefree spirit to the day, and I absolutely adore the second bouquet of lilacs – a pretty alternative for a more boho wedding look.
