Morning lovelies! Today’s shoot has all the most incredible details and ideas for a modern, romantic wedding in the countryside. The styling is beautifully curated, and the suppliers chosen for this shoot worked together perfectly to create a stunning overall look with eye-catching elements on the same theme. The cake is incredible: it’s by Holly Miller, whose sculpted and stylish creations take my breath away! I’m equally in love with Flourish & Grace’s gloriously cheerful florals, the fabulous table styling by Leanne Elizabeth Weddings and stunning stationery by Fine Art Calligraphy. If romance and femininity is your thing, you’ll need your Pinning fingers at the ready because this is one AMAZING wedding look! Every breathtaking image you’re about to see is by lovely James and Kerrie Photography.
“This styled shoot is to show couples they don’t have to get married in the big City to have a modern, elegant wedding, you can create that right in the heart of the English countryside.
We drew on the Baroque characteristics of Crowcombe Court to give a feeling of old meets new, with neutral shades of powder blue & soft pinks infused with antique gold to give that high end look.
The bride wore a romantic Maggie Sotterro gown and had a fresh, natural look with a soft pink make up palette with a hint of gold. To create a dreamy and romantic wedding bouquet we used a variety of blousy and elegant blooms in shades of pink, coral and lilac with hints of powder blue. Stunning cloni ranunculus, surrounded by scented garden roses and delicate anemones came together to celebrate the very best in spring flowers, enhanced by gorgeous mixed eucalyptus and Italian ruscus foliage.
Drawing on the historical characteristics of the venue, we wanted to create a tablescape which was heavily influenced by the baroque features of Crowcombe Court, whilst bringing it into the twenty-first century. Powder blue and soft pink, paired alongside antique golds, worked together to create a vibrant and colourful display, whilst complementing the georgian period features. The tablescape design featured ornate gold bowls filled with airy and feminine florals to complement the delicate candles and dinnerware, whilst enhancing the classic interiors of this stunning venue.
We had lots of fun with this design, mixing heirloom pieces with modern elements to create a design which had a contemporary feel whilst being rooted in tradition. From vintage china, to gilded gold charger plates, these metallic accents helped to inject richness into the overall design. Texture played a large part in forming the foundation to the tablescape design, with a powder blue linen tablecloth and a luxe cotton soft pink runner, this really helped to lift the design emphasising the summery feel of the shoot. The unexpected details were most definitely the bespoke menu napkins – printed with a bespoke french inspired menu, these menus were the perfect finishing touch. The table was framed by a large asymmetric design on the fireplace that created a romantic yet statement backdrop. The ceremony aisle was lined with modern meadow-style arrangements, creating height with the use of campanula, stocks, delphiniums and snapdragons.’
