Sponsor news – a beautiful new office for lovely Ayshea Goldberg Photography
There’s nothing I love more than a success story – when lovely brides and grooms show a wedding supplier so much love their business can grow into something wonderful. So when I saw on Instagram that my lovely friend and sponsor Ayshea Goldberg had gone and got herself a fab new office space for client meetings and viewings I just had to show you here! Ayshea – well done lovely, you deserve this beautiful space so much!
“When I started my photography business a few years ago I had some modest dreams, but I didn’t know where it would take me. Over the last couple of years my business has become everything that I want it to be – an extension of me and my values. Until now I’ve based myself working from a dedicated room in my home, which I loved as I was welcoming people into my home, they saw how I lived, ate my homemade flapjacks, got to meet my husband as they walked through my lounge and into my viewing room – it felt genuine and part of me.
Over the last year, my business has started to take over my whole house with equipment, sample albums and wall art being stored in every available space. One day a few months ago Sinclair (my ever patient husband) mentioned how the garage needed a tidy up so we could try and cram even more of my stuff into it. He wasn’t complaining at all – just stating that I was taking over the house. Somehow it seemed that I’d outgrown my little space without realising it but it was time to move on and expand.
It was at this point that I started to think about an office and viewing room. I raised this with Sinclair who thought that a separate workspace was a brilliant idea. I decided to write a list of everything I needed in a space. I knew that I wanted my space to have a divide between my office and a meeting area, so it felt inviting and professional. But it was more than just that – I had to feel like it was part of me too, so that it still reflected me and my brand.
The second office I looked at was absolutely perfect! It ticked all my wishlist boxes! It was large enough, in a village setting, nice grounds outside, client parking – and could be turned into exactly what I envisaged! I wanted a calm and welcoming atmosphere that reflected my brand and made a quiet understatement of intimate luxury. After a lot of long hours and hard work I’ve now moved into my new workspace. As well as customised furniture that I love, I’ve added a few personal items that reflect me. I think details are so important to show off me and what my business represents.
I think it feels like somewhere that people will feel at home, cosy and able to curl up on a comfy sofa to relax and enjoy themselves. Of course I’ll still be making my flapjacks to share at meetings too!
