If you’re looking to incorporate bright, vibrant colours into your wedding styling and need a theme to tie it all together, peacocks are the perfect inspiration. Wedding trends come and go, but peacock styling ideas are revisited and reinvented every season – this is one of my absolute favourites using fabulously colourful florals, coloured table decorations and glitter art for a whole new dimension of wedding make up art! Lovely Sarah Wayte shared her images with us, and Karen Luxford, the talented planner who coordinated this editorial photoshoot, tells us a little more. So how was your weekend? We survived a brilliant sten do at a mini festival close to home – it was absolutely fantastic, but oops… I’m a little more ‘bronzed’ than I’d like to be right now!! I’m currently enjoying a lovely breeze in my little studio office as I bring you today’s beautiful inspo feature. This is the work of a fabulously creative bunch of Essex wedding suppliers, and promises to bring a touch of cool to your screens, wherever you may be on this super hot day! I just love the ultra modern wedding cake and eye-catching stationery pieces – it’s all just gorgeous. Lovely Jenna from Wonderland Invites, who styled the shoot, is here to tell you more.
When Angela got in touch with me to share this shoot, I loved two things most of all: the simple touches of greenery which make this look absolutely breathtaking, and her approach to creating a look which real brides and grooms can recreate in their own way, without having to spend a fortune. The Railway Barn in Chelmsford, Essex is on a working vineyard in an industrial setting, bare brickwork and the vines created a beautiful backdrop. We brought in natural elements such as the wooden tables and chairs and coloured glass and crockery to enhance the look and touches of cooper in the cutlery added a touch of luxury.
My lovely friend and sponsor Ayshea Goldberg Photography sent me this wonderfully light and bright wedding photoshoot to share with you all. I adore the contrast of the lemon and purple colour palette; the venue itself is simply breathtaking – a magical location for a beautiful English wedding.
