It hardly feels like a full 18 months has passed since I discovered Clare Lloyd‘s exquisite handcrafted bridal jewellery. I’d planned a photoshoot in the Lake District, and seen her pieces online… but when they arrived with the postman I was more than blown away. To have the talent, the patience! to create such intricate jewellery must be a dream. To wear a single one of Clare’s stunningly crafted accessories on your wedding day will, I promise, make you feel amazing.

Unique wedding accessories and jewellery by Clare Lloyd in Somerset (34)

Clare Lloyd‘s collections are constantly evolving, taking on different natural hues and incorporating shapes and shades from nature. They’re always incredibly beautiful, and there’s always something new to see on Clare’s Instagram to take your breath away. These aren’t just bridal accessories to be worn on the day and forgotten: they’re future heirlooms, artisan pieces of handcrafted jewellery.

I love the wedding industry for its creativity. I love that as brides (and grooms) we can support independent businesses – guys like Clare who are keeping true crafts alive, working with couture techniques and with real skill to design unique pieces by hand, helping to create each bride’s wedding story.

Hello lovelies! Today’s all about the pretty on English Wedding… gloriously soft and feminine pinks with romantic table styling, silk ribbons and a lush bouquet. This palette and look would be wonderful in a contemporary marquee or garden wedding reception, or an orangery with views onto beautiful gardens. Huge thanks to lovely Jenna from Wonderland Invites for sharing it with us – this is so damn beautiful!

Romantic London wedding editorial with Ryann Lindsey Photography (17)

When my Instagram friend from the states announced she’d be in the UK to shoot a wedding, I knew it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to work together in person. I messaged Ryann of Ryann Lindsey Photography and she was up for the task!

We decided to push for a London based shoot, and my search began. I was over the moon when Chelsea Physic Garden accepted. As a working garden open to the public, they don’t frequently allow photoshoots; as such, it was an amazing opportunity we were handed by the marketing team there. To compliment the lush greenery of the gardens, I opted for a pink, mauve and white colour scheme which would bounce beautifully off the floral and fauna of the surroundings.

2018 Naomi Neoh Celestial Collection on the English wedding blog (40)

Dreamy, swirling Italian tulle skirts and heavenly lace appliqué in the prettiest contemporary shades set Naomi Neoh‘s 2018 wedding dress collection aside in a world of its very own.

I adore the name: Celestial means ‘of the heavens’ – and this truly is an exquisite collection inspired by the natural beauty of the universe. The softest dusky mauve, silver blues, blush and pinks evoke that wonderful inbetween time as dusk falls; and delicate beading hints at distant constellations twinkling under early moonlight.

I’ve fallen hard for the Venus gown, for its gentle colouring and tumbling, cloudlike skirts.

The delicate sleeves of Skye’s gorgeous jacket catch my heart just as much – these are divine dresses for any bride and I can’t wait to see some of your real weddings with these breathtaking designs!

I wanted to share a really pretty wedding with you all today – something elegant and graceful, with a wonderful sense of English charm and tranquility – and I couldn’t think of a lovelier wedding than Christie and Ben’s day. Christie is so very beautiful – a Devon bride whose timeless style reminds me of Audrey Hepburn – with Ben her perfectly handsome leading man. They married at Symondsbury Tithe Barn and chose lovely Linus Moran Photography to capture their day.

“On the day, keep making time for each other. Ben and I kept stealing moments where we would find a quiet spot to soak in the view of our wedding, hold hands, kiss and share tales!

I’ve heard people say nothing changes when you get married. I disagree – there’s a monumental shift and it’s a wonderful one. I love being married. I love hearing Ben introduce me proudly as his wife.

Naomi Neoh has released new imagery of her 2017 Eden Collection – they’re too beautiful to miss! I first featured these exquisite gowns in 2016, when I fell head over heels in love with the delicate botanical textures and fine silks of this exquisite bridal collection.

New for 2017, Naomi Neoh has introduced layers of beautiful interchangeable separates. They’re exquisitely made and infinitely wearable – choose from these sublime pieces to wear over a corseted crepe under-dress on your wedding day and feel simply amazing!

I’m a girl who layers. I love burying into all my winter layers, draping fabrics, combining styles and colours for a wonderfully floaty, creative look. Layering is such a genius way to wear anything – and I LOVE that London designer Naomi Neoh has created her 2017 bridal collection with layering and versatility in mind. Oh, and it’s the most beautiful collection I’ve seen – I had to share because I’m sure you’ll fall head over heels for these gowns too!

You can win my heart a million times with beautiful lettering… and this is amazing!!! I’m head over heels in love with today’s wedding – it’s gorgeous, I love all the writing! The flowers are so pretty – the cake is perfect! And Jas & Will are so good together – their portraits are super sweet! Love this to bits 🙂

“We didn’t really have a theme, everything was very ‘us’. I suppose, understated, elegant, natural, romantic.

We made a lot of elements ourselves, we love that sort of thing. We made our wooden signs and painted them ourselves, including the menu and table plan which were made from wooden pallets, and the Bride and Groom signs on the backs of our chairs.

What a beautiful wedding Lydia and Andrew’s was… I found myself smiling back at the gorgeous bride and groom on my screen – Lydia just looks amazing in her Naomi Neoh dress. The cake is lush; the portraits of the bride and groom are wonderful and the flowers are out of this world.

Ami, lovely photographer at Rubie Love Photography, told me, “This wedding for me had everything I love about weddings! It was at their home which is something I just love, so personal and special.

Wadhurst has the most picturesque village church for the ceremony and such beautiful light inside. Lydia made such an incredible bride – I mean, that smile!! – just wow – and that dress: the only way to describe it was the movement was like a dressage horse 🙂 The Marquee provided by Sussex Marquees was gorgeous! The incredible flowers especially the peonies which are my favourite. Most importantly Lydia and Andrew are just adorable together – I am so, so lucky to work with couples like this! So yes everything about this wedding made it perfect.

We’re ALL about the romance today! I’ve fallen in love with Naomi Neoh‘s divine Summer’s Eve collection and have been so excited to show you these beautiful new wedding dresses.

Naomi Neoh Summer's Eve wedding collection 2016 (9)

They’re traditional in the very best sense of the word: dresses which will turn heads every second of your wedding day. Naomi Neoh is synonymous with grace and romance, the timeless style which has defined English brides for decades.

The inspiration behind Naomi Neoh 2016 Summer’s Eve collection stems from the enchanting and wild beauty of the English countryside and the delicate dwindling sunlight of a summer’s evening. The new designs continue to include Naomi’s ever popular signature soft, floating, silk chiffon skirts and use of delicate blush pinks and peach tones but with a new addition of an ‘oyster’ hue.

I consider myself a fierce supporter of British talent in the wedding industry. I’ve been approached by some major US brands who’d love to feature their wares on the English Wedding Blog… and I’ve always said no. My blog exists to help local brides and grooms find the best suppliers close to home, and I truly love discovering our own amazing designers.
