It hardly feels like a full 18 months has passed since I discovered Clare Lloyd‘s exquisite handcrafted bridal jewellery. I’d planned a photoshoot in the Lake District, and seen her pieces online… but when they arrived with the postman I was more than blown away. To have the talent, the patience! to create such intricate jewellery must be a dream. To wear a single one of Clare’s stunningly crafted accessories on your wedding day will, I promise, make you feel amazing.
Hello lovelies! Today’s all about the pretty on English Wedding… gloriously soft and feminine pinks with romantic table styling, silk ribbons and a lush bouquet. This palette and look would be wonderful in a contemporary marquee or garden wedding reception, or an orangery with views onto beautiful gardens. Huge thanks to lovely Jenna from Wonderland Invites for sharing it with us – this is so damn beautiful!
When my Instagram friend from the states announced she’d be in the UK to shoot a wedding, I knew it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to work together in person. I messaged Ryann of Ryann Lindsey Photography and she was up for the task!
Dreamy, swirling Italian tulle skirts and heavenly lace appliqué in the prettiest contemporary shades set Naomi Neoh‘s 2018 wedding dress collection aside in a world of its very own.
I adore the name: Celestial means ‘of the heavens’ – and this truly is an exquisite collection inspired by the natural beauty of the universe. The softest dusky mauve, silver blues, blush and pinks evoke that wonderful inbetween time as dusk falls; and delicate beading hints at distant constellations twinkling under early moonlight.
I’ve fallen hard for the Venus gown, for its gentle colouring and tumbling, cloudlike skirts.
I wanted to share a really pretty wedding with you all today – something elegant and graceful, with a wonderful sense of English charm and tranquility – and I couldn’t think of a lovelier wedding than Christie and Ben’s day. Christie is so very beautiful – a Devon bride whose timeless style reminds me of Audrey Hepburn – with Ben her perfectly handsome leading man. They married at Symondsbury Tithe Barn and chose lovely Linus Moran Photography to capture their day.
