How many of you are getting married this spring? The weeks seem to be flying by, and with the sunny days we’ve been having it almost feels like April is here already… so I thought it’d be a perfect day to share Fiona and Matthew’s wonderful April wedding blog with you. The gorgeous couple were married in Richmond, Surrey, and their Pembroke Lodge wedding is beautifully styled for springtime.

I adore Fiona’s lace dress (the back is just so beautiful, isn’t it… she’s such a stunning bride!) and the soft white and blue flowers are the perfect special touch for their day. Everything is captured beautifully by lovely Surrey wedding photographer Karen Flower – do visit her website (oh! and read the review Fiona and Matthew give her in their wedding report at the end of the blog – she comes very highly recommended indeed!) www.karenflowerphotography.com

Gorgeous bride Jenna and new hubby Oliver took on a mammoth task when they bought a beautiful country home, renovated it and then held their wedding in the garden just 5 months later! But what a glorious way to celebrate a marriage… their English country garden wedding is so charming and has tons of inspiring little homemade touches from friends and family.

English wedding blog Beth Moseley Photography (1)Jenna and her mother in law created miles of homemade bunting from vintage fabrics sourced from charity shops – a wonderful use for all those preloved old curtains and bedspreads 🙂 as well as recruiting the entire family to collect vintage crockery from charity shops and car boots, on which a delicious afternoon tea was served!

Today’s real bride Melanie has one of those smiles which light up a room – she’s such a stunning bride and the images from her Norfolk wedding to James are wonderful.

Norfolk wedding photography by Rob Dodsworth (1)

I adore a seaside wedding – Melanie’s top tip for other couples is to “Enjoy every second – it’s over in a flash!  Do something special away from the crowd – Rob, our photographer, took Jim and I down to the beach and it was lovely to have some alone time with Jim!  I really remember that being special.” It most certainly looks like a magical and romantic moment when you see the images!

With thanks to today’s gorgeous real bride and groom Melanie and James. Their wedding report is at the end of today’s feature and includes a handy supplier list for other Norfolk brides and grooms – so do check it out! Thanks also to wedding photographer Rob Dodsworth for sharing his images of their beautiful day. Everyone – enjoy!

Today’s beautiful bride Sophie has given me some of the best quotes to use on the blog – and this is an all time favourite. The best thing about being married? The feeling of completeness, being absolute in the knowledge that you love one another unconditionally and that you are fully committed towards each other regardless of what life may throw at you.

English country vintage wedding by Paul J Andrews Photography (1)

Wonderful words and a heart-warming perspective – today’s wedding just happens to be deliciously pretty as well as meltingly romantic. I know you’ll love it as much as I do. This is a fabulous English country vintage wedding with oodles of inspiration and DIY ideas. Shilstone House even tried to buy Sophie’s handmade bunting after the big day… but the happy couple are keeping it for other family occasions (and what a lovely memory to have!) – that’s how lovely they made their day look!

Hello everyone! Are you ready for today’s beautiful wedding? Paul and Abi went for a rustic home made wedding style, which was perfect for their venue -the charming and cosy Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel (I’ve always associated Donington with music hehe – it’s nice to learn a little more about such a lovely place!) So we have tons of handmade details with blue gingham ribbon, a photo wall, lots of gypsophila and magical sparkle from fairy lights and tea lights dotted around the venue.

Derbyshire rustic home made wedding by Shaun Taylor Photography (1)

Oh! And let’s not forget the beautiful bride in her stunning lace dress – Abi says she’s a little camera-shy while Paul loves the attention, but I think they both look amazing in the photos – and so in love! Read all about their Derbyshire wedding in Abi’s wedding report at the end of the blog feature today, and enjoy the lovely images from Shaun Taylor Photography. Congratulations to a fabulous couple (and even more congratulations for the bump news!!!) and big thanks to Shaun for submitting such a beautiful wedding to the English Wedding Blog! I hope you enjoy it.

Stoke Place wedding photography

Inside Stoke Place this amazing blue stairway creates a unique backdrop for some of my favourite images from the wedding

Such an easy title to come up with for this gorgeous English wedding… in my quest to discover more wedding photographers I discovered Magic Photography this morning – and what a fab find! I hope you’ll agree.

Rebecca and Peter’s wedding was at Stoke Place in Buckinghamshire, a splendid hotel wedding venue originally built in 1690 to be a family home (a reeeeeally big one… it’s not like mine!!) with some of the most impressive gardens and grounds in the country.

What better setting then for a stunning fairytale wedding, with oodles of romance and lashings of elegance and sophistication – I hope you love this truly magical wedding day…
