Happy Sunday, lovelies! I hope you’re enjoying a relaxing (if blustery!) weekend, and managing to take a little time for self-care today. It’s been a funny old week with the blog – my inbox is bursting with joyful and beautiful images, and I’ve spent every day chasing my tail… so I wanted to end the week with one of the loveliest shoots I’ve seen all year. This one was sent in by lovely Weddings by Emma Louise, a supremely talented stylist and wedding planner whose love of nature shines through in this sublime collection of images. I will leave you with Emma to talk you through this breathtakingly beautiful springtime wedding styling feature.

This is a first!! How adorable is the little deer in this wedding inspo shoot? He’s a muntjac, and he lives at Marks Hall Estate in Essex, a beautiful location for weddings and wildlife alike, with heritage woodlands and ancient landscapes. I think his appearance in today’s blog post is a sign of approval of the gentle rusticness and natural styling touches from a lovely team of creative wedding folks who curated this photoshoot!

Our wonderful friend and English Wedding Directory member Gwenda from The Gilded Fern has kindly shared this shoot with us today. The gorgeous little favour bags are hers – I think they’re beautiful, don’t you? See more at www.gildedfern.co.uk

For those of you with a creative soul, we have something special and oh so unique for you today! One of my trend predictions for 2018 weddings was a more edgy editorial style than we’ve seen in previous years, with darker hues and dramatic colours. Today’s editorial shoot brings this to life beautifully with jet black table linens and chairs making the most beautiful statement at Somerset’s Brympton House. The look is breathtaking and I hope you love it as much as I do! Pinterest fingers ready, everyone?!
