Good morning lovely! I hope you’re surviving this crazy heatwave… and if you have sunshine, yay!!! I’m a very happy wedding blogger today, tucked in my little office by the garden with a quite hot and floppy cat sprawled by my side! And I’m excited because I’ve got the loveliest wedding to share with you! Jon & Claire were married at Tetbury’s Great Tythe Barn last summer, and chose Cotswolds wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day. Check out their light up letters from Burnt Orange: they’re such a gorgeous backdrop for the ceremony and reception and I LOVE them!

Morning beautiful! Is it just me or is it chilly as anything today? I’m in jumpers – yep, plural!! But maybe it’s me? I hope summer comes back soon! … Enough of me though, as I have a FABULOUS wedding to share with you today. Welcome to the blog gorgeous pair Joe and Ruth, who celebrated at Kings Weston House in April. Their day is a wonderful combination of everything a wedding should be: elegance and grace, love and family, and pure, relaxed, happiness from beginning to end. The stunning images by Bristol wedding photographer Howell Jones Photography capture it all.

So this GORGEOUS pair have all the summer feels! I adore the vibrant ribbons and fun, relaxed and beautiful styling of their Old Oak Farm wedding day. Sophie’s Watters gown and Loz’s TM Lewin suit are perfect for the occasion: their British grown, seasonal flowers are just divine for such a colourful, festival-style September wedding!

Images are by Simon Withyman Photography, who is new to English Wedding but I really hope we’ll see more from in the coming months! You can check out his work at simonwithyman.com
