Welcome to (nearly) the weekend, everyone! I hope you’ve enjoyed a little sunshine this week, and are staying safe and well. I’ve been saving up the beautiful wedding of Charles and Emily, which is wonderfully elegant and timeless. The newlyweds are gorgeous: they were married in June at St Giles House in Dorset, with Camilla Arnhold capturing their day. The cake and flowers are just stunning – and the pair look fabulous in a Jesus Peiro dress and tailored suit from Reiss. Enjoy this, lovelies, and have a relaxing weekend.

With love,

We chose our photographer from social media, searching the term ‘Wedding photographer Dorset’ in instagram. A range of photographers came up, including Camilla’s, and we were instantly drawn to her beautiful work.

We were extremely pleased with Camilla and her work. She captured every detail we wanted including special moments with family and friends. Her style was exactly what we had hoped for and more.

Why hello there you beautiful thing you! I am so excited to share today’s gloriously romantic wedding with you! Our gorgeous couple Rosie and Chris had chose to say their ‘I dos’ in a sunny woodland setting with an amazing atmosphere, at the beautiful Blaithwaite House in Cumbria. Their styling and theme was relaxed with outdoor themes including greenery, upcycled wood and the most magical personal touches. Blaithwaite is a beautiful estate set in 250 acres of Cumbrian countryside. Rosie and Chris were married in front of ‘Mary Jane’s Summer House’, a beautiful building from the Victorian era situated on a little island surrounded by water. They told me it’s an absolutely breathtaking setting for a wedding, and I couldn’t agree more – I just know you’ll love this!

How did you choose your photographer?

Lauren is a childhood friend, we’ve grown up through nursery, school and sixth form and 10 years ago travelled to America together. Lauren is a wonderful photographer, we choose her because she captures beautiful candid moments and has a relaxed approach.

So there are just – ooh, six days left now until Christmas Day! And I hope you lovely lot will forgive me for going a little bit festive in some of our features this week! The florals in today’s feature are just wonderful, with warm reds and lush textures – I’ll always fall for a rich, juicy dahlia and a full red rose… but when they’re surrounded by luscious foliage and beautiful, elegant styling… I’m in heaven!

Kimberley Louise Makeup organised a styled bridal photoshoot to showcase modern Hollywood glamour at Balcombe Place, incorporating rich florals and elegant make-up and dresses in a modern Hollywood style, which was a perfect fit for this English country house wedding venue.

Fiona Mills from Fiona Mills Art captured some beautiful images to inspire any bride who desires a Hollywood look for her wedding, together with glamorous styling ideas. Her inspiration came from the sirens of the 50’s, where sexiness, sass and confidence oozed out with every pose.
