Today’s beautiful floral shoot was created as an anniversary styled celebration, but I think the styling is just perfect for a wedding too! The flowers by The Wedding Fairy are so soft and colourful – they really do take centre stage. Delicate blue delphiniums, ranunculus and roses sit prettily together on tables with a colour palette of soft blues, ivory and subtle coral tones. Berried eucalyptus adds a silvery note and lovely texture, working hand in hand with dove grey and white candles in the prettiest glass holders.
Today’s fabulously beautiful wedding is going to be a favourite for 2016 – I can see it now. The handcrafted touches are wonderful, and I am SO impressed with gorgeous bride Laura’s lettering and wedding signs! (I’m teaching a calligraphy workshop today and seeing people learn to write like this is one of my favourite things!)
Chris and Laura planned their wedding over 2 years: “Having such a long time to plan the wedding had its pros and cons. We had time to source amazing suppliers and spend hours swooning over gorgeous weddings. However, I did get slightly overwhelmed with the sheer volume of wonderful ideas out there.”
Here Comes The Bride… as tunes go this one’s a classic, and generally expected as the bride enters, right? So how about the James Bond theme tune for the groom to walk down the aisle?! I LOVE this idea as I love so many things about Carla and James’s Thornton Manor wedding.
Not least in my extensive list of loves today are the images – some of the very, very best by top UK wedding photographer Chris Hanley Photography.
