I am totally in love with this dreamy woodland wedding editorial. The colours – I mean it’s just lovely to see all these delicate shades of blue in the table setting and floral design. And the dappled sunlight in the forest setting brings back a fragrance of summer I totally adore.

This photoshoot was sent in by Alina of Sara’s Events, who styled the shoot and created all the floral arrangements. Aren’t they just perfect? The images are by fine art wedding photographer Natalie Stevenson, and our bride’s beautiful dress is by Indiebride London. Diana Muntean created a striking bridal look for our bride, who wears pretty accessories by Rachel Sokhal to complete the look.

This shoot took place at the end of August. All the floral arrangements were foam free and natural, all linen hand dyed. The style created was a romantic, airy and natural one, that used seasonal flowers alongside elegant special touches. The stationery by Tiggity is exquisite, the candles from Kiss Air are the loveliest colour and really finish the tablescape beautifully. With hire items from Classic Crockery, and Queen and Eden napkins this is a woodland wedding with an understated elegance which looks almost effortlessly beautiful.

The floral styling is superb for today’s wedding – say hi to beautiful Laura & gorgeous Kevan who married at High Billinghurst Farm last summer. They were blessed with gloriously hot weather for their celebrations in the Sussex countryside – and while tipis were set up nearby, the temperatures meant their dream of a woodland wedding was destined to come true.

We’re taking a fascinating behind the scenes look at the wedding today, with lovely Kim at Bespoke and Beyond Weddings & Events. Kim’s story begins on the Thursday morning with the arrival of three giant hats from Beautiful World Tents. I’ll hand over to Kim who can tell you all about her vision for this stunning celebration, and how the wedding came together beautifully, creating a truly magical woodland wedding for Laura & Kevan.

Hi lovelies! How is your wedding planning going and are you hooked on Pinterest yet? I’ve spent today falling down random Pinterest holes… it’s not been a mega productive one so far! And the photoshoot I’m about to share with you hasn’t helped at all… there are so many stunning ideas here. We’re talking late summer wedding style – for that brief period of time when the summer begins to fade and wisps of autumn stir the air. A delicate, pastel colour palette still works this late in the season, but tinged with plum tones and darker pinks the look becomes something truly special to work with the earliest days of autumn.

Images are by our lovely friend and sponsor Amanda Karen Photography, with a fabulous team of creative London wedding suppliers at Clissold House in Hackney, London.

I’m so in love with today’s style edit from our lovely friends at Amanda Karen Photography. The vibrant green foliage by Cassandra King brings summer to any venue, all year round. The cake by Hayley Elizabeth Cake Design is incredible with glossy leaves and still so very elegant – and the touches of antique gold bring the entire theme together: it’s wonderful.

I’m sure I’m not the only one to have a bit of a houseplant ‘thing’ going on. I have succulents and ferns, cacti and plenty of palm-tree type things whose names I don’t even know! I’m also a big believer in styling your wedding with the things you love, so the day is beautiful and feels natural, fitting your personalities too. So, fellow plant lovers, here’s how to take inspiration from those tropical houseplants you adore to create a stunning, contemporary wedding style!

Spring is well and truly in the air this morning – I’ve just come back from a wonderful little break in Richmond (we stayed in “a large Wedgewood vase” aka Culloden Tower – it was fantastic!!!) and the spring flowers were looking beautiful… so what could be better this morning than to share this beautiful spring wedding shoot with you.

The blue hydrangeas are divine! The whole look of the shoot is fresh and springlike, and it’s a wonderful look for a contemporary English wedding. Ideas and styling are by Alexandria Events (Alexandria is just so lovely!) and images are by Jacques Lloyd at Real Simple Photography.

Alexandria told me, “I jumped at the chance to hold our shoot at a venue as beautiful as Oakley Hall. The grounds are gorgeous, and there were so many lovely shoot locations we were spoilt for choice! I wanted to create a fun and fresh spring feel to the shoot, and luckily the weather was on our side that day (apart from a rather gusty wind!). Overall I would describe the shoot as colourful, feminine, and soft, with an emphasis on flowers and nature.

Don’t you think there’s something extra romantic about winter months? There’s a wonderful sense of magic in the air… that first snowfall, frosty patterns on windows… and (perhaps it’s just me) the secret pleasure of pretending to breathe like a dragon when it’s cold enough to see your breath?! I really do love winter. I love candles and cosy evenings, and I love the magic this season evokes. If you’re like me you’ll love today’s winter wedding inspiration shoot as much as I do!
