We are head over heels in LOVE with this gorgeous styled shoot at Kelham Island Museum with real life couple Richard and David. The guys are gorgeous, the styling is dark and decadent with lush greenery and dramatic tones. Stunning stationery sets the scene and an enchanting array of sweet treats looks wonderfully tempting. Richard and David look amazing, rocking Master Debonair suits – and David’s gold crown is an absolute showstopper. Before we dive in, let me say we don’t get nearly enough LGBTQ+ weddings and shoots in our submissions inbox. Today is making us incredibly happy – and we want to see more! Huge thanks to lovely Sam, English Wedding member at Fantail Designer Florist, for sending this in. There’s a full supplier list below for all of you Yorkshire couples!

An epic Yorkshire wedding with fabulous styling, colourful smoke and a magical, festival atmosphere. This glorious wedding brings back all the summer vibes and we LOVE it!

The venue:

Skipbridge is a relaxed wedding venue full of unique charm. It’s an incredible place with quirky onsite accommodation and animals (llamas, donkeys, peacocks and more) on site, and makes a lovely Yorkshire wedding venue.

I’m finding it fascinating to see wedding suppliers almost subconsciously adapt their shoots to work for micro weddings. While the wedding world shifts and changes to a focus on intimate, small (and all the more beautiful) celebrations, suppliers are coming together to create the most wonderful inspiration for our editorials. Today’s post is a fabulous example: a small group of talented Norfolk wedding creatives came together to create something truly beautiful. For me, it shows that you can have a magical micro wedding with a small team of trusted suppliers to turn your dreams into reality.

Boho beautiful - wedding inspiration from Chaucer Barn, with Eternal Images Photography Ltd (19)

If your week is flying by at a crazy pace like mine, this ultra sophisticated photoshoot will bring a spot of tranquility and peace to your day. Lovely Martina from Wonderful Events shared it with us, and I instantly knew it would be perfect for the blog. The styling was designed with a modern couple in mind; perhaps you’re looking for a stronger aesthetic, but in traditional monochrome. This shoot shows how beautifully an elegant and striking palette can work in the setting of a handsomely refurbished country house – Ashton Lodge is set in 3 acres of grounds overlooking the Warwickshire countryside.
