I’ve had the loveliest flurry of applications for membership of the blog this month! It’s been wonderful – I’ve almost kept up with my emails as we set up supplier pages for all of our new members. As wedding season finally looms on the horizon, I thought it would be a nice time to introduce those of you who are new here to our groundbreaking wedding blog membership platform.
How it works is simple: suppliers pay a small fee to be blog members. You can then be featured – with real weddings, styled shoots, product showcases and guest blog posts.

Happy days! Today’s blog post has taken an AGE but it’s been worth it – I’ve just set up AND sent out our first member emails for suppliers!! If you’re an English Wedding member, there should be something lovely in your inbox… and I hope to hear back from you soon!
English Wedding members get priority with wedding submissions – the main benefit to joining us is to have your work featured on our blog. The emails I’ve sent exclusively to our members were all about submissions for the next couple of months – and I’m excited to have some fabulous wedding inspiration to share in the next few weeks.

I beg every couple out there, every bride and groom planning ahead for a 2021 or 2022 wedding – keep speaking to suppliers. Keep reaching out to photographers, venues, florists, dressmakers and all of the wonderful people who make weddings happen. We all need each other right now. I’ll be completely open with you: wedding businesses need your support. We need to know there are weddings being planned for the coming years – and by booking and even enquiring now, YOU WILL KEEP THE WEDDING INDUSTRY GOING.
Hey lovely wedding supplier friends – I hope you’re all hanging in there. I’ve been email-chatting with a few of you, I know things are really really tough right now. For those of you with weddings in the last few weeks – I’m so happy you’re back out there, doing what you love. For those of you waiting for 2021, I hear you. I don’t mention it much, as I know lovely Annabel has it covered. (And I recommend her Facebook group for suppliers, if anyone’s not already in there.) Anyways – much is happening here at English Wedding HQ. I’d like to think that as the blogger with a small wedding business I understand a little of how this is affecting everyone, on a personal level. (I’m still desperately trying to work out how to pivot…)
