A fairy tale castle for a modern Hindu wedding – Yazmine and Eli are the most gorgeous couple, and their day couldn’t be more perfect. From the tiny details to the heart melting moments, this Hindu-American wedding is utterly stunning and I know you’ll love it too! All of the beautiful photographs are by Nottingham wedding photographer Matt Selby Photography.
I adore this day because it’s a real family occasion, with gorgeous bride and groom Ann and Robin making sure their favourite little people were a huge part of their day! The venue is Broadoaks Country House in the Lakes. The photographer is super lovely Jaye-Peg Photography. Jaye is one of my favourite Lake District wedding photographers and gets a glowing review from Ann & Robin!

Magicians have been part of entertainment history for centuries, yet let’s be honest — many folks just can’t stand them. Perhaps it’s the eye-roll-inducing performances or the idea that wedding magic equates to cheap parlour tricks. But here’s the twist: while plenty of cringe-worthy magicians are out there, the world of magic is gradually shaking off its bad rep. Thanks to hit shows like Britain’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller, people are starting to see the genuine skill and artistry behind a top-notch magic trick. Great wedding magicians can really liven up your wedding reception and get guests talking – they’re actually a brilliant entertainment choice for weddings!

Wedding season is officially here which means many will be getting ready to watch their nearest and dearest tie the knot in the coming months, with some jetting off to warmer climates to attend the big day.
Google searches for ‘destination wedding guide’ have increased by 199% since last year and as we reach peak wedding season, searches for ‘summer wedding guest dress’ are up 25%. Deciding what to wear for a wedding can be a tough task but factoring in high temperatures and humidity requires another level of consideration.
We love showcasing our favourite wedding venues, and since the lovely folks at Kent wedding venue The Ferry House have updated their wedding brochure, we couldn’t wait to share some of the new offerings! Check out some of the new additions below…
The perfect getting ready space – for both of you!
We adore The Ferry House’s new Garden Lodge. It features a custom, handcrafted rustic dresser with light-up mirrors and seating for three, making the space perfect for getting glammed up. Styled with the classic Ferry House touches – vibrant pheasant wallpaper, warm wood, handmade furniture, and a vintage industrial vibe – the Garden Lodge is nestled in a secluded spot of the venue’s 1.5 acre kitchen garden.
