Inspired by the fabulous images from London wedding photographer Jordanna Marston

There’s a photo somewhere of a four-year-old me, hiding behind my mum’s leg (and clinging on for dear life while peeking around the side) at a wedding. It’s one of my favourites – who’d have such a cute (but terrified) little monkey would be a wedding blogger in later life? If you’d asked me way back then, I’d have said kids don’t want to go to your wedding. But that makes light of what’s actually a huge talking point all over the interweb: should you invite kids to weddings?

Before I say anything else, I just have to start with Stacey’s DRESS today – because WOW!!! She looks incredible in a Stella York gown from Bicester Bridal. This is a dreamy outdoor wedding in Oxfordshire, with gorgeous May sunshine (and the sunset is stunning!) and a soft colour palette of blush with accents in powder blue and gentle peach. The flowers are wonderful, the vibe is elegant, fun and romantic and the images by Benjamin Wetherall Photography take my breath away. You’ll love this.

Hey lovelies! I have exciting news today – we’ve just announced another FOUR modern calligraphy workshops in lovely Nantwich. For those of you who don’t already know, I’m a calligrapher when I’m not writing the English Wedding Blog – and over the next few months I’m going to be a busy bee teaching some lovely festive classes!

In collaboration with The Little Paper Shop, we’ve just announced two new dates – 2nd November and 7th December.

Join me in their lovely workshop for beginners modern calligraphy and brush pen lettering in November, and then for a more festive class we’ll be back with another beginners calligraphy workshop and a full-on Christmas calligraphy workshop on December 7th.

Today’s wedding is an elegant and classy affair; mixing traditional styling with a modern twist at one al styling with a modern twist at one of Yorkshire’s favourite wedding venues:  The Mansion at Leeds Roundhay Park. Gorgeous couple Kat and Vincent were lucky to have a beautiful summer’s day for their wedding, and really made the most of the grounds of the park for their wedding photos.

Images are by York wedding photographer Amy Jordison, who gets a glowing review from the couple in their English Wedding Interview below! Watch out for a stunning Essense of Australia dress (from Ava Rose Hamilton), fabulous florals by NC Floral Designs and that wonderful cake from Zoe’s Fancy Cakes.

Hey beautiful! Today we’re sharing this wonderful, windswept editorial with joy in our hearts. Autumn days have their own kind of magic: it’s all about embracing the beauty of nature and falling in love with the elements, no holding back! Lovely Jessica Lily sent this one in, and I just love it to bits. The dress has a natural grace and magic to it; the bouquet is stunning, and the location is pretty damn special, don’t you think?! There’s a beautiful invite by lovely LouPaper, which would look amazing teamed with bare wooden tables dressed with trailing foliage and autumnal candles…
