I want to make a resolution, right here and publicly on the blog: I want to help you lovely lot find unique ideas for your wedding, by freely showcasing independent creatives on English-Wedding.com. Because weddings aren’t about high street stores or massive brands. If you’re new to wedding planning (hey there!!!) you’re about to enter into a world of tiny little indie businesses run by the most dedicated, creative, wonderful people you’ll ever meet. Welcome.
Good morning, lovely! Today’s wedding is another stunner – this time we’re at Lemore Manor in Herefordshire with beautiful Alex and Ben, whose wedding was submitted by lovely Sophie Ann Photography. I love the soft blue of the bridesmaids’ dresses (eBay, can you believe?!) and Alex just looks incredible in her figure-hugging dress from Wed2B. The summer flowers are magical, and the spirit of the day is enchanting as can be!
Did I ever tell you how incredibly lucky I feel to do this for a living? Writing about gorgeous weddings, scrolling through eye-dazzling images of love and joy all day long? It’s a pretty special way to spend the days, and I’m feeling incredibly blessed this week with such dreamy content to share with you! Today’s couple are stunning Phoebe & Ed, who married at Childerley Hall in Cambridge and chose our friend and top UK wedding photographer Richard Skins to capture their day. Phoebe’s dress is just….. ahhh I don’t even have words: it’s more beautiful than beautiful has ever been before!
Lovers of florals, colour, fragrance and whimsical romance, gather round! Today’s wedding inspiration is wonderfully colourful and fun and romantic… all inspired by a golden swan and brought to life by a fabulously creative bunch of wedding suppliers in lovely Leicestershire.
The shoot is by Claire of Lefkas Weddings, who styled the shoot and wanted to use bright colours and jewel tones in contrast to the summer weddings she usually creates with her destination wedding planning company. The images are by destination wedding photographer Maxeen Kim and the bride’s beautiful dress is by Bronx and Banco, combining tiered, lace skirt with a soft, romantic look. It was paired with velvet Ted Baker heels, which everyone wanted to take home! The groom wore a velvet jacket lined with bird pattern fabric adding a hint of fun to the outfit and a nod to the theme.
I couldn’t be happier with this week’s AMAZING weddings! Following yesterday’s stunning and colourful florals, today we’re going all white with the blooms, and including oodles of wonderful foliage – oh, and of COURSE we have the most insanely gorgeous couple: Joshua and Rebecca are just fabulous! That dress though…
