If I could do one thing this Bank Holiday Monday it would be to whisk away all your worries and fill you with happy. These crazy, scary times won’t last forever, and if you’ve had to postpone your wedding until 2021 please, please look forward to your new date with absolute joy. My heart says 2021 is going to be an incredible year full of amazing wedding celebrations. Weddings like Ruth & Jonny’s. Weddings full of glorious love and laughter, and with a party to end all parties. This is epic, and I do hope it brings a smile to your day. Ruth and Jonny are just gorgeous; their day has everything – I’m in love with Ruth’s dress and all those stunning florals! All images are by one of our fave UK wedding photographers, lovely Warren from Howell Jones Photography.
With everything going on in this crazy world right now keeping in touch, socialising and spending quality time with friends is now more important than ever. People are spread across different locations, stuck inside and feeling a bit odd about the world around them. Hen dos are always a fun, bonding experience but also, almost always, a drama to organise and adding drama to anything at the moment is to be avoided at all costs.
Happy Sunday, lovelies! I hope you’re enjoying a relaxing (if blustery!) weekend, and managing to take a little time for self-care today. It’s been a funny old week with the blog – my inbox is bursting with joyful and beautiful images, and I’ve spent every day chasing my tail… so I wanted to end the week with one of the loveliest shoots I’ve seen all year. This one was sent in by lovely Weddings by Emma Louise, a supremely talented stylist and wedding planner whose love of nature shines through in this sublime collection of images. I will leave you with Emma to talk you through this breathtakingly beautiful springtime wedding styling feature.

So, you’ve booked your dream venue and secured your wedding date in the diary – yay! What’s next?
Things can be complicated when booking a wedding photographer – firstly there are so many about! First and foremost I think it’s really important to choose someone whose work speaks to you and transports you to a moment, and that you get on with them on a personal level.
Once you’ve found your photographer, some will have various packages and extras that you can book to create your perfect wedding photography package. Today I wanted to talk about second photographers.
There are pooches in every picture, pretty much… which makes Emily & Joe’s day as adorable as any I’ve ever seen. These guys had the most joyful wedding in Dorset, focusing on family, fun, food and booze – and it’s EPIC! Their fabulous images are by our wonderful friend, English Wedding member and Lulworth Castle wedding photographer Smiling Tiger Studios. Emily is stunning in her gown by Nicola Anne Bridal, and Joe is dashing in an M&S morning suit with navy and gold bowtie.
Enjoy! This wedding is an absolute beauty. With love,
