This dreamy editorial captures hazy Italian days in the most beautiful way. Imagine it’s summertime and you’re miles away from anywhere in the Italian countryside, with a villa of your own for the week of your wedding day – and everything is simply perfect. I adore the lush bouquet by Shining Flowers, the dreamy tablescape by Elisabetta Carraretto and the wonderfully floaty gown by the fabulous Jurgita Bridal.

It’s all captured beautifully by Sonya Lalla Photography, a Tuscany, Florence and Rome destination elopement photographer. Sonya is known for her romantic and delicate photographic style, and got in touch with me a little while ago to ask for some calligraphy pieces for this shoot.

Happy Sunday, beautiful! How’s your weekend going? I forgot to tell you – we spent last night at The Wordsworth in Grasmere, a gorgeous spot for a wedding – so waking up this morning was absolute bliss! I’ll tell you all about it later in the week 🙂 For today though, something VERY special. We’ve been chatting to the wedding & events team at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford recently – it’s a breathtaking and wonderfully unique wedding venue with a stunning balance of contemporary architecture and historic backdrops – half a million years of art and history, to be precise! Today we’re sharing a bridal photoshoot at the Ashmolean, so you can see the place for yourselves… isn’t it incredible?!

Hi lovelies! How is your wedding planning going and are you hooked on Pinterest yet? I’ve spent today falling down random Pinterest holes… it’s not been a mega productive one so far! And the photoshoot I’m about to share with you hasn’t helped at all… there are so many stunning ideas here. We’re talking late summer wedding style – for that brief period of time when the summer begins to fade and wisps of autumn stir the air. A delicate, pastel colour palette still works this late in the season, but tinged with plum tones and darker pinks the look becomes something truly special to work with the earliest days of autumn.

So happy Valentine’s Day to you!! I hope whatever your plans, you’re feeling loved and blessed this morning. I’m getting ready for a really special friend’s wedding tomorrow and I can’t wait!! So I think we’re doing all our Valentine’s Day stuff on the 15th… we’ll miss the rush in the restaurants and have a wonderfully cosy meal!

I had to save up something really special for the blog on Valentine’s Day of course. This is a breathtakingly beautiful bridal shoot, loosely based around a romantic ‘French style chateau’ in the New Forest, Hampshire. Thank you to lovely Frances Moore for sharing it with us – if we weren’t all feeling loved up already, oh my goodness am I in the mood for a little romance now!

It hardly feels like a full 18 months has passed since I discovered Clare Lloyd‘s exquisite handcrafted bridal jewellery. I’d planned a photoshoot in the Lake District, and seen her pieces online… but when they arrived with the postman I was more than blown away. To have the talent, the patience! to create such intricate jewellery must be a dream. To wear a single one of Clare’s stunningly crafted accessories on your wedding day will, I promise, make you feel amazing.
