We’re beginning the week with a heartwarming story of gorgeous couple Laura and Craig. The day before their wedding in 2018, Laura was taken ill and at the last minute they had to postpone their day. In the days when postponing a wedding was a rare thing, all of Laura and Craig’s suppliers were amazing: they rescheduled for the summer of 2019 and this gorgeous day happened. Laura is stunning, Craig her perfect match. The location (Lusty Glaze in Cornwall) is breathtaking and the styling touches for their beach wedding are adorable! As we head into the weekend I have one more breathtakingly beautiful wedding to share with you. Gorgeous couple Maureen & Liam tied the knot at Thornbury Castle in an elegant, sophisticated and joyful celebration with their closest family and friends.

This weekend sees the longest day of the summer – and I’ve been so excited to share this glorious June wedding with you lovely lot. Gorgeous couple Harriet & Harri were wed in North Shropshire, a very special place to them both, and chose our lovely friend Warren at Howell Jones Photography to capture their day.
Harriet is stunning in a unique and beautiful Tara Lauren gown From Heart Aflutter Bridal Boutique in East London, while Harri’s made to measure light wool suit is from Mr Start in Hackney, East London. Teamed with a favourite liberty print tie by a maker on Etsy and a simple rosemary + rose buttonhole, he looks fab! Harri’s flower crown completes the country wedding look beautifully.
I LOVE a local wedding! Living on the edge of the Lake District is a dream. We’re there every weekend exploring the mountains (and valleys, right now!) and the landscape never fails to take my breath away. Needless to say, it’s my favourite place for weddings and so sharing Jen & Alex’s day with you today is soooo exciting! Most of all I love their day for its relaxed and elegant vibe. Beautiful bride Jen’s dress is non-traditional…. stunningly slinky with a daring thigh split and incredible back detail, it’s by Atelier Pronovias. Alex looks fantastic in chinos and a classic white shirt (because suits are NOT a rule…. or if they are, they’re the first rule to break! I love this look!) The gorgeous couple chose a few of my favourite suppliers for their day: lovely Helen Jane Smiddy was their photographer; Kevin from Brackens of Bowness (“the unofficial god of flowers”) provided their amazing florals, and talented Charlotte of Sugar Ruffles designed their gorgeous wedding cake.
So this wedding is pretty epic. I just know you’re going to love it – Claire and J-D make the coolest couple ever, and with the extraordinary creative contributions from family they put on a wedding which is everything. The flowers are glorious, Claire’s dress is stunning, J-D’s outfit is brilliant and inspired, and the photography exquisite. Grab a cuppa, snuggle down and enjoy this beauty of a summer wedding.
