Today’s beautiful celebrations are properly at home on gorgeous bride Jodie and Ed’s family farm. Huge thanks to English Wedding Directory member Jess Yarwood Photography for her wonderful images – Jodie describes their wedding as “the most precious love-filled day of our lives” and I think her description fits it perfectly!
Our wedding followed a rustic traditional theme styled around our farming lives. From the tractor which Ed drove us home from church on to horseshoes and little sheep on every table and straw bales scattered everywhere we made the theme about us and our lives. There were abundance of pink and white flowers, greenery, and cut logs inside and outside the marquee.
Today’s gorgeous and relaxed family wedding took place at the end of August in the countryside of Canterbury. The church was a 5 minute walk from Rosie’s family home where she held the reception. I love how they’ve incorporated Game of Thrones into their day with subtle little details – and it all looks fabulous!
My Dad made the table plan, order of the day and chopped all the wood from a tree in the garden for the centre pieces. My Mum and brother made all the origami name places. We had a naked cake as this worked well with the theme of the day. My very talented Mum made it and it was amazing! Allan and I made all the signage.
I stumbled across this gorgeous Hampshire wedding on the blog of Lemontree Photography – and totally loved everything about it. Sarah and Iain are gorgeous – their day is so perfectly charming I had to get in touch with Az at Lemontree and ask if we could share their images with you today. Lucky for me, he said yes, and Sarah and Iain have been lovely in sharing some of the details of their planning with you too!
Delbury Hall is one of Shropshire’s loveliest wedding venues. With a country house, a lake with swans and ducks swimming about and beautiful gardens it is the perfect place for a wedding. Beautiful bride Siân and her gorgeous groom Edward were married there in the summer and chose Tony Fanning to capture their day. It’s perfect… and I have to say I love their wedding hashtag and the beautifully realised shed to go with it! Siân – Edward… get it?!
I’ll always love Manchester: it’s a unique city with a fabulously urban culture, and today’s stunning wedding embraces the edgy, fashion side of Manchester in the most beautiful way imaginable. Gorgeous bride Jenna married Kris at Victoria Warehouse in August and I’m thrilled to be able to share their day with you.
“We didn’t have a theme, as we didn’t want to restrict ourselves. We wanted it to be very natural and simple and only things we loved. We chose to have lots of greenery as a contrast to the industrial venue. We had pops of white and gold throughout with balloons, spray painted jam jars and signage. Through chance the bridesmaids chose to have pink dresses and Kris chose a pink tie, so in the end everything worked well together.
