Hey lovely! How’s your weekend going so far? I’m so excited to be sharing such a pretty celebration with you today – beautiful Sophie and gorgeous hubby Stephen were married at Eversholt Hall in October and chose a dream team of East of England wedding suppliers for their wedding day including Matt Bishop Photography and lovely Lorraine from Wild Orchid Floral Design. The look is wonderfully romantic and the images are light and fresh and oh-so-beautiful.

Our florist was Wild Orchid, based in Leighton Buzzard. Lorraine was amazing and created some stunning displays. The flowers were full of blush, ivory and amnesia roses, which matched perfectly with my bridesmaid dresses.

This week has just flown by! I hope you’ve had a lovely one and are all ready for the weekend. Before we kick off our work gear I have one more wedding to share with you (and watch out for some fabulous advice features over the weekend too!). Today we join gorgeous couple Sarah & Alex for their Essex wedding at St Osyth church with a reception in Alex’s grandmother’s back garden! The bouquet by Miss Fleur Floral Design will make you fall-over-swoon and the images are just soooo beautiful! They’re by our lovely friend and English Wedding member Grace Elizabeth, who is based in Colchester.

Happy weekend! Thank you so much for sticking around to enjoy the English Wedding Blog this week – we’ve had a wonderful week full of weddings and style inspiration and I’m thrilled to be sharing yet another real wedding with you today, this time from Manchester city centre. Gorgeous couple Rebecca and Stephen’s October wedding day was intimate, informal and relaxed. They focused on fun, laughter and happiness – and their photos capture the atmosphere brilliantly. The styling is minimal, contemporary and beautiful, and the venue is The King Street Townhouse Hotel. Images are by lovely Sarah Millington Photography, based in Derbyshire.

Happy New Year everyone! Warmest welcomes from me if you’re new to English Wedding – oh, and huge congratulations if you’ve got a brand new sparkly thing on your finger!!! Exciting times are ahead and I’m here to inspire you through your wedding planning journey. Come & grab a cuppa and I’ll introduce you to everyone at English Wedding. This blog is for everyone – brides and grooms alike. We focus on real weddings all around the UK and share the very best ideas, advice and photography from the wedding world. I like to think English-Wedding.com is a little different – as well as the gorgeous details, the weddings we feature have a sense of humour and authenticity to them. Hey lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Who else dug out their favourite jumpers this weekend? I’m loving feeling all snuggly in mine today!! We have a lovely week ahead on English Wedding with some gorgeous real weddings lined up, a stunning dress feature and expert tips on floral styling for barn weddings… but first, let’s start the week with something truly beautiful. Richard and Claire married at The Italian Villa in Poole last October. Claire looks super cute in her lovely Galina Couture gown which has to be one of the most amazing dresses we’ve ever seen on the blog! WOW!! The wedding is full of smiles and gorgeous styling which I hope you’ll love as much as I do!
