Vicky and Ali tied the knot on New Year’s Eve – and what a celebration it was! Black tie styling, glorious details, everything so wonderfully elegant and with a splash of wow factor to mark the occasion. [I’ve been saving this winter wedding to share with you as I thought we’d be into cooler times by now… but hey, heatwave!] Anyways, I hope this stunning NYE wedding gets you all excited for 2021… let’s face it, I think we’re all done with 2020, right?! We’re all rethinking weddings right now I reckon. All the preconceptions of what a wedding “should” be are being flung out of windows and we’re downsizing while shifting the focus from colour palettes and decor onto family and the luxury of just being together. So as always, when a York Place Studios wedding comes along, I’m thrilled because that refreshing, different, glorious perspective shines brightly.
When I get a credit for “Beer” in a couple’s list of favourite suppliers, I know to expect a pretty special wedding. (Tip: there’s no place for Carling at weddings!) – and Rachel & Shaun’s day lives up to expectations, flies past them in a blaze of beauty and leaves me wanting more. Their day was epic. They’re a gorgeous couple, the vibe of the entire day is joyful – the smiles never stop from bridal prep through to the evening spent crowdsurfing. I love these two. I’ll let you into a little secret right now: the LAST photo from Claire & Senaka’s Cotswolds wedding is my favourite. The things Gloucestershire wedding photographer Martin Dabek can do with nighttime wedding photography just blow my mind! But before you get there, we have the loveliest wedding at one of our favourite barn venues to share with you today. Our gorgeous couple tied the knot on a September day (not this year!), styling their celebrations with botanical details, pretty signage and foliage. Claire’s dress with that adorable belt and lace detail is from Clifton Brides, and we love Senaka’s suit too (and that fabulous floral tie!) – all in all, the perfect elegant rustic wedding day.
Morning my lovelies! I have a STUNNER of a winter wedding to share with you today – I don’t think I’ve ever seen quite so many beaming smiles from a wedding we’ve featured on English Wedding. Mike and Khiley are ultra sophisticated, sexy and chic – their wedding is one of those knock-your-socks-off occasions full of joy and happiness. I have a feeling we’re going to leave you glowing for the rest of the day.
