Lizzie and Dan’s wedding is a classic – timeless styling, an elegant colour palette and beautiful sunshine… the flowers are lush, in a soft palette of dusky pinks, and the beautiful atmosphere they created is one of tranquility and romance. Lizzie is stunning in her Cizzy Bridal dress, and Dan is every bit the classic English groom in a smart navy suit with Ted Baker waistcoat. My top tip for you today, lovelies, is to find a place you love and get married there. It can be that simple… and you don’t have to go out of your way to find a place you love, if there’s already a place! You might have a favourite country pub, or a local beach with amazing views, or a city centre restaurant. Beautiful bride Laura & her gorgeous husband Rick found their perfect venue at the East Quay in Whitstable – with sea views and glorious natural decor inside (plus all the sparkly wonderfulness) it’s sooo perfect for a modern wedding! As you can see from the images today’s elegant outdoor wedding was super chilled and pretty! Gorgeous bride Hannah designed all of the wedding details as she is a graphic designer. Hannah & Sami’s Mum Ann made the incredible golden drip wedding cake covered in macarons together!
Hannah & Sami celebrated their wedding and reception at Rowhill Grange in Kent, they had an absolutely incredible outdoor ceremony followed by drinks and canapés on the lawn & reception in the stunningly decorated reception room in the clock tower. Hannah’s classic and stunning wedding gown is from Hayley Elizabeth Bridal in Orpington. Her bridesmaids wear dresses from Jarlo London. Sami and the groomsmen wore suits by Richard Mark Menswear.
Today’s gorgeous and relaxed family wedding took place at the end of August in the countryside of Canterbury. The church was a 5 minute walk from Rosie’s family home where she held the reception. I love how they’ve incorporated Game of Thrones into their day with subtle little details – and it all looks fabulous!
My Dad made the table plan, order of the day and chopped all the wood from a tree in the garden for the centre pieces. My Mum and brother made all the origami name places. We had a naked cake as this worked well with the theme of the day. My very talented Mum made it and it was amazing! Allan and I made all the signage.
Today’s woodland wedding shoot is wonderful!!! I LOVE the ribbon tipi and the bouquet – and the dreamy background and styling touches are just incredible! The venue is Oakwood Weddings, a brand new wedding venue nestled within ancient woodland near Ashford.
