Today’s wedding has character, individuality and good old English country charm. I love Kelly and Gary’s choice of The Bull Hotel for their intimate Kent wedding – it’s a great little place and just looks so welcoming and off the beaten [wedding] track! Kelly is gorgeous – and despite Gary at one point not wanting a photographer, I’m thrilled they booked lovely Michelle Cordner Photography to capture their day.

“Our wedding inspiration came from us and how we are as a couple. We are relaxed (sometimes too much!), fun loving and love a quirky building and the countryside. We wanted a Kentish feel to our wedding that was slightly different and not what everyone else does.

Rachel & Gavin’s ceremony was under a gorgeous floral arch before celebrating the rest of their evening in a romantic barn lit by fairy lights. I adore all the handmade touches and I recommend you grab a cuppa before scrolling through the stunning images of their day – there are sooo many ideas here, you’ll love them!!

Rachel is absolutely beautiful – all the florals are stunning and the little touches and handmade ideas are just fabulous!! Personally I love the ‘engagement tour of Ireland’ idea – I’m definitely up for that! Please hit the Pinterest button and save these to your boards – you’ll be busy creating for sure!

I had the absolute pleasure in February of meeting Kent wedding photographer Benjamin Toms (and his impeccably behaved black labrador Byron!) – and we talked and talked. Ben’s approach to wedding photography is inspiring. I only wish you could have been there to listen to him talk about the work he loves – and to learn, along with me, some wedding photography secrets! I wanted to reintroduce you to Ben today. He’s been a supporter of the English Wedding Blog for a long time and I adore his work – his photography is simply out of this world, and his dedication is second to none.
