Riverside elopement inspiration at Hidden River Barn, with P Kay Photography

Published by Claire Gould on

Huge thanks today to lovely Kay from PKay Bridal, who sent us this stunning styled wedding shoot from beautiful Cumbria. The images are fabulous, the table styling out of this world – and I’m in LOVE with Harpreet’s beautifully embroidered wedding outfit. It’s all from a styled photography workshop run by My Pretties UK – as I type, they’ve 3 workshops in the pipelines which still have availability and I’d highly recommend them!

Kay has shared her gorgeous photos from this warm and romantic shoot with a rich colour palette that is perfect for any season. Hidden River Barn is a simply breath-taking venue literally hidden away in the Carlisle countryside. Surrounded by woodlands and it’s own private river… who wouldn’t want to get married here?

Emma from The Petal Studio created the most stunning bouquets for both of our beautiful brides as well as a cool and minimalist display to show off those incredible windows at the venue. Each couple was styled very differently to showcase that you can create the wedding you want almost anywhere with the right design and styling.

Harps’ traditional Indian outfit was supplied by the designer Ekta Solanki and she really couldn’t have looked more beautiful.

The stationery by Bianco Blanc Paperie and the most incredible cake table from Cakes by Alison Fawkes, the designs complement each other perfectly both choosing florals in their creations.

Makeup provided Makeup by Andrea Baines completed all of the looks with flawless, skin and statement eye makeup. Hair was provided by Hair by Emma Jewell who created different looks for each model to compliment the outfits and makeup.

A gorgeous grazing table was created for us by Baba Ganoush York catering, as always from them, it tasted as good as it looked. The whole mood of the day was fun and creative, special thanks Jenny Appleton and Jo Greenfield for being our lead photographers and offering guidance throughout the day.
