Set in the picture-perfect landscape of wild meadows and wild wetland reserves of the Kent countryside, The Ferry House provides a beautiful backdrop for your rustic yet refined wedding day. With accommodation for 70+ and award-winning dining from our expansive locally-sourced, homegrown menus, we’re secluded but accessible, just 60 minutes from London.

NEW for 2026 weddings! The Ferry House has announced plans to build a beautiful new wedding barn in time for spring 2026.

Under the plans, The Ferry House will remain open for weddings until 30th September 2025, after which their diary will close for weddings until Sunday 12th April 2026. They are currently in the design phase of the development and are excited to be able to share plans by 10th January 2025, at the latest. Couples can secure their 2026 date now free of charge, paying a booking fee only once drawings for the new Barn have been confirmed. Full of country character, choose to say ‘I do’ in our rustic Oak Barn, adorned with fairy lights and hops all year round or in our Oak Gazebo, overlooking the Swale estuary and beyond.

Our Event Suite boasts floor to ceiling windows, bringing our unspoiled landscapes in during your wedding breakfast for up to 180 guests.

With packages including everything you need for stress free planning, as well as our dedicated wedding coordinators, The Ferry House is not only a venue to celebrate your big day, but one you can return to again and again after your wedding.
