Exciting news for 2026 and beyond! The Ferry House is thrilled to announce the launch of Spring Barn, a brand-new wedding space, opening in April 2026. This exquisite barn will feature a rare oak Hammerbeam frame and soaring cathedral-style ceilings, with bi-folding doors at the garden end of the barn offering panoramic views over the Swale estuary. Inside, you’ll find lounge seating areas, a stylish in-room bar, and an intimate, romantically lit courtyard outside. As The Ferry House transforms into an exclusive hire wedding and events venue from April 2026, you’ll also enjoy your own private pub on your big day!

In addition to the stunning Spring Barn, 2026 will see the unveiling of revamped wedding menus and a brand-new planning portal designed to make organising your dram day effortless. While The Ferry House will remain open for weddings until October 2025, the venue will close it’s diary temporarily to complete renovations before hosting their first Spring Barn weddings from Sunday 12^th April 2026. Bookings are now open for weddings in 2026 and beyond –enquire through their website today!

For your ceremony, choose from a variety of enchanting spaces, including the Spring Barn, ideal for celebrations with 130-260 guests from April 2026, or the charming Hop Barn, adorned with fairy lights and hops all year round. There’s also the picturesque Oak Gazebo, overlooking the stunning estuary – each offering its own unique charm.

From April 2026, Spring Barn will replace the current Event Suite, allowing up to 260 guests to enjoy a wedding breakfast amid sweeping waterside views. Whether you’re looking for a full-day celebration, a twilight ceremony, an intimate wedding or two-day affair, The Ferry House offers a variety of packages to suit every vision, all supported by their dedicated wedding coordinators.

Beyond your big day, The Ferry House invites you to return for pop-up dining events, taster evenings, and personal celebrations, as it becomes your special place.
