Planning your ‘best day ever’ is the most amazing rollercoaster ride – and now is a fantastic time to get married! Some time ago we threw away the wedding rulebook, and couples are celebrating their commitment in creative, personal and truly individual style. I’ve been a wedding blogger for eight years and seen so many exciting changes in how we get married – and you know the very best thing about weddings now? They’re all so very different and those personal touches every couple include make every day special and magical in its own unique way!
It’s been a little while since I pulled an all-nighter, but at 3am today I finally hit Save for the last time on issue 2 of our beautiful digital magazine. It’s here – it’s free for you to read and it’s FULL of stunning wedding inspiration, advice, ideas and with two brilliant competitions for you to enter.
That’s me off to bed for a little extra snooze then… I’ll be back at 12 with a gorgeous real wedding to brighten your Friday lunch!
I hope you love the magazine! It’s been a labour of love and I’m really proud of everything we’ve packed into our second issue.
Can you belieeeeve it’s going to be April tomorrow? Spring is flying by and here at English Wedding Blog HQ we are busy making plans – lots of plans! I suspect many of you will be just as busy planning the finishing touches to your wedding day, and so I’d love to know about any amazing little Etsy shops, craftspeople, designers and little indie businesses you’ve fallen in love with on your wedding journey.
Hello lovelies! Don’t you think March is flying by? I need a little luck this morning as it’s time to get my little Vespa’s MOT done… but before I scoot out to the garage, I wanted to say thank you to some of the people who are supporting the English Wedding Blog. Without these guys I genuinely couldn’t write the blog. It wouldn’t exist as it does: we’d have half the number of amazing weddings to share, and nowhere near as many features to show you each week. Sponsors or advertisers are what keep wedding blogs going, and I’m grateful to every one of these lovely people from the very bottom of my heart. I’d love for you to take just a few moments of your morning to consider them for your own wedding day:
How many moments of pure joy happen in a single wedding day? Too many to count, or imagine, or dream of, or remember? Weddings are days filled with blissful seconds of laughter, love and happiness. Like this.

I publish a wedding photo of the week every week on the English Wedding Blog.
